We caught another one in the rabbit cage the other day… This time, the hosta survived!

The skunk or the rabbits?

The rabbits, my husband takes to a nearby field and opens the door.

The skunk… I put a big and old towel over the cage – approaching real slow as not to startle the critter. Then we open the door slowly and wait for the skunk to get out. That’s what we did both times, and it worked just fine.

We filmed it this time, so I’ll try to post it. The skunk is rather cute, trying to dig its way out of the cage.
