      Well I paid the Ransom on my Silver Curlies last night so they should be on their way soon. I only have 1 left and hope to get it in 2 weeks with the next paycheck. Then I will be up to date with all 13

          Do you guys really say “in hawk”, like “New Yawk” out there? Just curious, ’cause out here we say “in hock”. Regional differences are so interesting. My husband always laughs when my Mom or I says “it’s ratt-lin'” instead of “it’s rattling“. 😆

            I say rattlin too! 😆 It’s a northern thing I guess?

              That’s cool! 😆 If you mean northern NJ and up… My husband is a Piney (south Jersey) and he says I “tawk” funny. 😆

                I have always heard tihe term in Hawk but do not know anything about New Yawk. It was a term for selling thing to the Pawn Shop but seemed to work here too instead of Jail and Ransom

                  Actually, I guess I say it more like rattelin. I just leave off the G. I’m actually from Pittsburgh, PA… and we have our own vocabulary there!

                  Dahntahn = Downtown

                  Yinz = You guys or you all

                  Man, there are so many others. Just can’t think of them all off the top of my head. Newfie would know exactly what I’m talking about though.

                  Hey, does anyone else call the colorful little sprinkles on donuts jimies? My brother-in-law born in Louisiana, and raised in Texas with my husband. And couldn’t figure out what I was talking about when I said jimies.

                    The correct spelling is actually “in hock” when you sell something to the Pawn Shop.

                      Yup, here we say sprinkles or jimmies. If you think of more, post them.

                        Are you going ot get it eventually??

                        I don’t know. I might, but the only reason I got both VF’s is cuz they wre different in paint, not eye color. 😕
