I have not been on line much at all lately, though I do try to drop by for a few minutes here and there. I was gone to Cali for training for 33 days and got back the end of October.
You were in Cali and didn’t call me??? >.< Haze yourself!

Serious tho, let us Cali peeps know when you’re coming out! I know, like you’d have the time….with training and all….Oh wait…it’s the Army, you’d have plenty of free time to come to Disney Land! =P We can get you in for free… =P

Ooh the pics showed up this time!!! Awesome! I love the cats claws!!! π
Nirvana, I was training, so I had access to NOTHING π For two weeks I wasnt even supposed to use my phone… and yet the rank kept calling me on it… like they pay my bill π How is it that the officers… who have the most money, get the government issued phones and use them to call us poor enlisted? Jerks. When we were in the Dust Bowl I could pay for internet, but I only got on a couple of times and once was to print out a manual for a peice of equipment that needed to be calibrated. Disney Land would have been much better… a couple troops from the rotation before us must have been trying to go there… they walked off into the desert and made it about 18 miles before they were picked up. π
November 11, 2008 at 7:48 pm #739361They walked 18 miles? In one day? Wow, they were really making tracks.

Yep. Guess they didnt like NTC π Speaking from experience, you can march over 25 miles a day… it just hurts! I suppose they were just fed up, but how dissapointing to do all that walking and then get brought back to the very place you just left… in only a matter of minutes by car. Those poor guys probably lost rank over that, too.
November 11, 2008 at 8:04 pm #739363It’s kinda silly of them to think they’d get away with it, though. And if they had, wouldn’t that fall under “desertion”?
