Yay! I skipped this thread so I wouldn’t read any spoilers, and we FINALLY got to see it yesterday (first movie in the theater since last year when we went for Dave’s birthday… guess our priorities aren’t movies…)
Anyway, LOVED it! And of course Megatron will be brought back to life… his body is still intact! So much fun, so many lines from the cartoon! And Optimus Prime sounded like the original Optimus Prime 😆
My favorite was the gal’s line about “why does he turn back into this piece of crap camero” and bumblebee kicking them out of the car.So, does anyone know if Megatron becomes a different personality or what?

That’s because they got the original Optimus Prime back for the movie!
Megatron’s original voice actor did voices too (tried out), but they said his voice wasn’t “deep and evil” sounding enough so they didn’t use him… but from what I understand, even after Hugo did Megatron’s voice, they went back over it to make it sounds more “Megatron” like. Ah… where did I read that… ah, here it is “His [Hugo] voice in the film seems to have been digitally altered to give it a deeper, growling tone.”
Frank Welker did do the voice for Megatron in the video game though.
Is anyone else angry that they have NO plans to bring out a score from the movie? The music from the movie was beautiful. It would be, as my mom says, “a crying shame” if they didn’t bring it out. 🙁
So who’s getting the movie on DVD now that it’s out? If you want a good summary of what’s on the different versions my friend who’s a Transformer fantaic made a comic explaining the differences.

Why Silas Bought Six Copies (of Transformers)
I bought it last night. Though I didn’t even think about where might have cooler versions… the first place I saw it, they had a one-disc blah version & a two-disc version, so I bought the two-disc. Meh, I should’ve gone to Suncoast for the tin case.I know we’ll pick it up soon. My bf really, really liked it. I enjoyed it quite a bit but still have issues with the huge plot flaws. But that’s just me, I think too much and end up picking at bits of all the movies we watch. 😆

I had no idea that the stores were offering different goodies. I bought mine at Target and just got the single DVD. I hadn’t seen it in the theater, so it was totally new to me.

What were the plot flaws?
How would Megatron come back? They dropped him in our deepest abyss… the water prssure and the COLD alone would make it where they couldn’t come back… but I didn’t write the script! lol Just asking questions! 🙂
