dashesndots and Natasha: hopefully all of our’s will scan at the Portland hub….but I did have an Amazon package before that had no scan until it got to my local post office before….but again, hopefully we all get scans soon!
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinFebruary 8, 2019 at 4:36 pm #1556082My orders from Windstone don’t generally log that they are moving anywhere until a full day after. I’m on the clear opposite side of the country, so I don’t ever expect anything from west coast too quickly. 😛
Looking for...
Sitting young oriental dragon koi gold and white
February 8, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1556091The limit has been lifted on the “wild” oris.
February 8, 2019 at 4:44 pm #1556092I’m also on the opposite side of the country. My experience has been that Priority Mail usually takes two days – for example, mailed on Monday and arrive on Wednesday or mailed on Thursday and arrive on Saturday. In this case I would expect a box on Monday (weather permitting).
February 8, 2019 at 4:53 pm #1556098What, no one picked overnight express??
Limits lifted? Time to order more wild things?

Sitting young oriental dragon koi gold and white
February 8, 2019 at 4:58 pm #1556100I feel boring. Everyone’s picking flashy ones, while I like the more plain ones. For the wild ones, I feel like I would need to see closer pictures from each side. I put in for a koi because they have the most white… except for the ones that are really black. Odds are against me in any batch. LOL.
Well, I’m in the “boring” zone with you, I guess! The only Koi ones I liked were the black/white/silver ones, and my faves from the other batches are also a little plainer, I think? Even the rainbowy ones that caught my eye were heavier on the green and blue than the “all the colors at once” end of the scale.
I’d actually prefer fewer with white/more with less white on them. My top faves are those without a white chest, especially in the Cool batch. I really hope I get one of my top-3 picks! Then if you get one of your faves we can start a “Boring Dragon” Fan Club. 😀
Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
February 8, 2019 at 6:23 pm #1556265I hesitated because of the price, and my favorites are very spread out between the three color types, but when I saw that there was only one Wild one left I grabbed it. Eee! My absolute favorite is the mahogany one Whisker pointed out. I know the odds aren’t great, haha. But the more I look at the class pics, the more I think that there are a good number I’d be happy with. It’s a beautiful sculpt.
February 8, 2019 at 6:25 pm #1556266As usual, grab bag curiosity won out over prudence and sanity. It will be interesting to compare a wild color dragon with the class photos. (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it …)
February 8, 2019 at 6:43 pm #1556331I was hoping to get another Wild one when and if the limit was lifted, but I missed it. Oh well. I got a Wild and I like pretty much all of them, so excited to see what I got!

So, Etruscan, have you found Priority Mail to be speedier than UPS? (I guess that would explain why it is a few dollars more)

For where I live in Maryland (about 50 miles south of Washington, DC) Priority Mail is much faster. Priority is two or three days to get to me and UPS is a week. However, the time difference should be less if you live closer to Windstone.
February 8, 2019 at 10:59 pm #1556346For me usps is faster than ups. Ups, if I’m not home or not fast enough to the door, wont leave the package at all, even with a note and no signature required, their discretion, and then they take my package to their choice of ups access point, not close to me when there’s one minutes away. I now have it set to just deliver to my preferred access point, minutes from me, but it adds an extra business day to delivery which is frustrating. Easier to pay usps and signature required so I can pick up same day if I’m not home and usps has followed my notes I’ve left when signature is not required, FedEx also.
February 8, 2019 at 11:18 pm #1556347Mine is supposed to arrive Monday. Can’t wait. >.<
February 9, 2019 at 12:50 am #1556354looks like mine will be here tomorrow maybe…it’s about an hour away in a big hub so here’s to hoping! *crosses fingers*
