Thank you etruscan! I am still tracking it. Still trying to figure out how I’m going to incorporate them into the system but durnitall I’ll get it done!

Yup, she did! I have found the pictures of it and I’ll be updating this all later on tonight with some newer pics of some of these beauties 🙂
Edit – actually I think she was the one that had Grayling – at least that’s what I messaged her about when I asked to use her pics XD
I’ll get it all sorted out eventually!

June 18, 2011 at 12:51 am #848540Yes! Someone does, I have one picture of her. I’m not sure who owns it.. my mind is going bonkers from trying to keep track of all of them XD

So either buckskin, grulla, palomino, black, bay, etc OR appaloosa, pinto, sabino, solid, etc; because other wise there is too much overlap. For some like Dolente and Cicada, they are both pinto and buckskin.
Basel is just a solid chestnut I think. Thalia is grulla with some pinto markings. Personally, I would sort them by colour rather than patten. I might make a category for the white leopard appaloosas like incence, jenny, amos, emmaline, etc as well though.
The list looks great so far, it’s so nice to see them all together! How many youngs were there in total? I remember the first batch was 38, then a batch of 14… after that I don’t remember. I believe there was another big batch sometime after right?
June 18, 2011 at 1:00 am #848543fairyhearted originally had darkling, dunno who has him now! He’s black and white like raven.
Here’s Dune, Mirror, Morning, and Darkling.
June 18, 2011 at 1:04 am #848544Thanks for the tips scenceable!! Would you be willing to be my go-to person to figure out where each uni belongs?
I can definitely do it by color – that sounds good, it will further categorize them and keep the most similar looking ones together too! I thought “Appaloosas” would be big, but oh my! it’s MOST of them! XD
I’m about to head home from work, but if you want to look at them and let me know what colors they each are I’d be very grateful (if you’d rather me try first and then you correct my mistakes that’s fine too, I know there’s a lot of them!).

I know Caper was from the first batch but couldn’t find him in there, and a lot of the appaloosas and bay pintos look too similar for me to tell apart. Some of the bays at the back might even be appaloosas like Adagio but I can’t tell. Anyway, this was fun.
June 18, 2011 at 2:46 am #848554The list looks amazing! I wish we all lived closer, we could be eating cookies and building a scrapbook!

The last black and white one that you have a red question mark over is called Alistair. It’s the one I got from the first batch. I haven’t put up any pictures yet, but I’ll try to get around to it this weekend.
June 18, 2011 at 4:25 am #848558The liver chestnut (did I get that right?) is named Tumbleweed. The owner has sent me pics of him and he’s gorgeous!! I was asked to keep the owner’s identity hush hush, I think because they know how beautiful their uni is! XD
Also I thought of doing this exact same thing earlier!! I’m so glad you did it 😀

It’s nice to find more pieces to the puzzle! I’m sure fairyhearted had the bay pinto on the left but I forget his name, and there’s a few at the back I can’t see well enough…
June 18, 2011 at 9:25 am #848566I think maybe that one on the left is Glory?
