Good to know they’re not going in today, I’m really wishing you’d put ’em in after the first of the month, but that’s just me, lol.. I might stand a chance then! lol.. right now, not standing as much of a chance at affording them! It would be really nice to know if they’re going up in price and by how much?? I can mull over the price better than than freaking out while the store is selling out in minutes as to if this is a good idea or not, lol… Much more than their current price and I def can’t afford them right now… *sad* lol
I don’t know what the final price will be, but I will try to remember to announce the price before they go in the store.
Looks like they won’t go in untill next week.. I want to finish the rest of them, and we are out of pads! Gotta get some laser cut. Thanks for the heads up on the price! 🙂 If I know a head of time, I can see if I can borrow monies to pay for it with until I has more monies after the first of the month XD lol… What have you done to me??! ;p hahaha, seriously, I plan my spending money around Windstones now haha
It’s like they say – Windstones really are addictive. First a baby unicorn (that can’t hurt anything) … then a Grab Bag Poad (just this one and then I’ll stop) … and next thing you know you are into the hard stuff and trying to pay for a Lap Dragon and an Emperor!
And then you end up with an SK! 🙂 *pats her brand new pretty*

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmFebruary 18, 2012 at 4:38 pm #873897I started out trying to figure out how to afford an emp ;p my art special was an attempt to buy 7 dragons, peacock mother, male, hatching, scratching, coiled, young n emp for $500. Unfortunately never had any takers, so I never got them…
Instead it ended up bein a gb baby uni, then working out a deal to buy a pair of dragons from a forum member, getting my gorgeous pyo dragon that Roguehorsestudio painted 🙂 then a bvp mother dragon, n working on a pair of gb unis from older batches.. All in about a months time XD
February 18, 2012 at 9:04 pm #873913Yay! I’m delighted you’re painting more–they’re gorgeous!
Does this mean there’s a shot at a max of 2/customer instead of 1, or am I just dreaming?
I wish I knew how many people would like to buy these…then I would have some clue about how many to make. Now there are 110 of them. Surely that is enough Poads(tm) for everyone.

Maybe you could take a poll? Or seriously consider pre-orders for grab bags? 🙂
February 18, 2012 at 9:10 pm #873916110, WOW! 😀 I sure hope you get some group photos!
February 18, 2012 at 9:16 pm #873918If you aren’t sure of demand, you could have 1 per customer at first, and then open up to people being able to grab another one the next day after X time.
So, say they go in the store at 3pm PST. If there are still poads in the store at noon or PST the next day (or whatever time you choose), you could elect to allow to grab a second one if they wish. Gives people an opportunity to get one if they want one, and if there isn’t the demand for that large of a batch, you find that out too. If the demand isn’t as high as anticipated, it gives people an opportunity to try and grab a second one later.
February 18, 2012 at 9:18 pm #873919Has everyone who wants one pressed the “notify when back in stock” button on the Grab Bag Young Poad(tm) page? Just one time is enough… If you haven’t pressed the button, please do. Pam fixed it so we can see how many notifications are waiting to go out so we’ll have an idea of how many Young Poads(tm) are needed.

I have this awful urge to go click it again. LOL Like that would make things happen faster!
On that note though, might throw a question to the web design crew to see if you can have the button change color/not be available/something to clue us in if we HAVE already asked for notification on something. Because honestly, I’ve forgotten at this point what I have & have not clicked (outside of GB poads). A way to get off the notify list for a given item might be helpful too if you’re going to use these for accurately gauging interest in a given LP–for example, I no longer need a CP male or Lap, but am probably on the list for each. (I think. Maybe. Can’t be sure because the button still says “notify me”.) 🙂
Just a thought.
(And pretty pretty please, not Monday afternoon for these; I had a doctor reschedule on me. Maybe having a limited time preorder period isn’t a bad idea…it’d sure beat the anxiety of OMG I can’t leave the house or I’ll miss out!)

Preorder would probably sell them out just the same as putting them in stock in the shop…
I like the idea of having a way to tell what we have already clicked ‘Notify Me’ on.. cause I know I’ve clicked a bunch, but I don’t remember what ones anymore.. I know I have the Poads on notify, but I don’t remember what else, lol…February 18, 2012 at 11:09 pm #873931I clicked it now! Thanks for the reminder, Susie! 🙂
I sure hope they come out anytime except Tuesday late…
