Also, I’m posting photos of the unicorns from the first two livestreams on facebook (along with other things like new sculpts!) I’ll put up a few every day. 🙂
June 15, 2013 at 5:10 am #898652It’s entirely possible that, for me, anticipating this batch for so long has ended up leaving me wanting as far as the designs go. Of all of the unis that I have seen so far, a grand total of 1 has made my heart patter at all, and that’s seriously rare for me – I’m always looking forward to the grab bags – but it’s been a bit of a letdown for me so far 🙁
I may still end up getting one because, let’s face it, I’m addicted to Windstones! Chances are pretty darn good though, that I’ll be looking to trade mine for something else (unless I’m just so lucky to get the ONE that I like! XD). No guarantee that I’ll even be able to get one, but just putting out there that if anyone can’t afford one or misses out on them, and I end up getting one – send me a message!Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

June 15, 2013 at 6:22 am #898657Hannah, don’t dispare so quickly; after all, there are still another 100 or so young unicorns waiting to be painted. Maybe you should tell Melody what kind of candycorns you are looking for. For example, I really liked “Stained Glass” from the original candy ‘corn batch and would love to see something like that for the young unicorns.
So don’t give up – Melody does paint a wide variety of designs
June 15, 2013 at 7:12 am #898658Wow, how many unicorns are there planned to be? 😮
I thought they were almost out of horns but I’m getting the impression this is a large batch? Is that right?June 15, 2013 at 9:03 am #898659Funny you mention Stained Glass, rock-reader! If it’s the one I call Stained Glass, I had her a couple of times! XD I love that design, so I’m right on board with that! I’d love to see some nettuce designs on these unis!

http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-android-supports-flash-learn-how-enable-itMy phone is too new so it doesn’t support flash at all. I can’t even download and install it. 🙁
June 15, 2013 at 3:29 pm #898663I don’t know the exact number, but to my understanding, Melody is going to paint enough youngs to use all the remaining young unicorn horns.
There are 60 done, Melody had another 30-ish on her wheel, and I think there are at least another 30-40 to go.
If you have any dream youngs, now is probably the time to squeak for them. 🙂
June 15, 2013 at 4:16 pm #898664I would love to see more natural safari youngs!! Oryx, okapi, wild dogs, red panda..etc. I do love the nettles too.. Can’t wait to see more of these – they look amazing on the livestream…
June 15, 2013 at 4:27 pm #898665I was all prepared to not like this batch since I didn’t care for most of the candy corn babies, but I gotta say, I am in love with nearly all I’ve seen so far! Especially the autumn colored feathery ones that remind me of Carnival in Rio! 😀
June 15, 2013 at 5:05 pm #898666Color wishes…..
Pastel
Pastel leopard appy
Pandaloosa
Light blue eyes
Teal eyes
Teal or light blue eyed pastel appaloosa
Light light pink based with light blue or teal eyes and pastel blue green purple spots appy, kinda like Ambrosia!!!June 16, 2013 at 1:35 am #898674I have to squeak for more safari and supernatural young unicorns. Antelope patterns, giraffe, zebra, cat patterns, African wild dog, or mixes thereof would be great.
I’d especially love one that looks like a spotted hyena, or a leopard appaloosa that comes close.

I want safari unicorns, too! I loved the four we’ve already seen, and would be ever so grateful to see more.
Thank you for these Grab bags, Melody! 😀
June 19, 2013 at 1:42 pm #898758I love most of the ones I´ve seen so far. Funny enough I like the leafs (which I did not like too much on the babies) much more than the safari ones (which I very much liked on the babies).
Would love to see something like this:
June 19, 2013 at 4:59 pm #898761I love the look of those baby unicorns too. Any similar colours or patterns on the youngs would be awesome!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
