*jumping up and down for joy* My wolf came today!
I felt super guilty ordering him and was just thinking this morning that I’d probably sell him as soon as he gets here. I NEVER get lucky with grab bags-the really amazing ones go to other homes and I never have anything exciting to trade….
but luck finally smiled on me! I got my #1 pick!
She’s amazing, and I absolutely love her! I literally hopped around in circles, clutching her to my chest. My mom brought the box to me and watched me open it, she was laughing at me 😛
Thank you Melody for painting some like this and THANK YOU PAM for not swiping this one for ebay. I have a feeling she would have gone far far beyond $91 and I could have only dreamed of owning her.
My Package has arrived! Huzzah! Here is the gorgeous wolf I received. She’s in shades of cream, light reddish brown, darker brown, and greys and she has golden eyes. I adore her facial markings and her little paws. I would consider trading her for a Merle, German Shepard or one of the Black or Dark Grey Wolves, but I am also quite happy with her. Her shading is really lovely.
Is that one of Meowmix’s choices?
Nah, She’s lovely but I prefer the solid greyer ones. Or that possible purple-ish one!

That’s a bit unfair… I liked thinking GB’s were actually meant for the GB batches, otherwise mark them as “Test paint” -_-
Congratulations on getting your number one pick, Wolfen! I don’t normally like the ones with different eye colours, but that merle is absolutely stunning.

I think Melody has mentioned before that a few GBs of each batch are held back for ebay? Maybe someone else said that but I remember that from somewhere.
I had always just assumed that this meant they held back a few randomly from the batch. Knowing now that they hand picked at least one of the more special ones is pretty disappointing. The brindle was one of reasons I got a wolf, and although I knew my chances of getting him were slim, it’s still disheartening to see that he was purposely taken out and my chances are now zilch.
