Hi Melody! I know that we just now are getting the current available pebbles produced more regularly, and you are already working on dozens of other projects, but I was just curious if you hope in the future to add to your Pebble line?
I was thinking the other day what animals would be cute to have as pebble animals and here’s what I thoughts of!
Serval (Very elegant yet kinda weird, but in a good way, looking wild feline).
Tapir (Maybe a baby Tapir since they’re just so gosh darned cute?).
Guinea Pig.
A rabbit of some sort?
Japanese Raccoon Dog.Just something fun to imagine!

I have been considering animals that would make good pebble things, I was seriously considering a raccoon dog, but I am afraid nobody would know what they are.
Honey badger
red panda
I have been trying hard to come up with a ferret pebble, but they just don’t pebblize very well. These need to be animals that curl up in a ball and are still recognisable!I am doing two more foxes, but they aren’t exactly pebbles. They are simplified, but not curled up.
October 31, 2014 at 9:16 pm #921197Awesome! I really hope you reconsider the Raccoon dog, I know they’re kinda an obscure animal, but I think they could look SO adorable in pebble form, and what better way to get someone interested in a new animal than to offer them a cute sculpt of it to sit on their shelf!
Also, I love the idea of a red panda pebble, I can’t even imagine how awesome that would be.
I’m super excited to hear about the two new fox sculpts too, let us know when they’re ready to be revealed!

Tapir’s are a great idea! I’d also love to see a curled up Dachshund, a Snow Leopard, eel, boa or a sloth.

Er, for critters curled up in a ball, how about a ball python? 😉
November 1, 2014 at 12:35 am #921203Hedge Hogs also curl up…. not sure how well the quills would be able to sculpt though, but they sure are cute!

Omg, YES! I love Hedgehogs and think that’s an awesome suggestion! Yeah the quills may be difficult to translate into pebbles but the idea is so adorable!

November 1, 2014 at 1:57 am #921212I’ve seen raccoon dogs and they are cute! All those ideas sound cool! Also what pebbles are coming up for sale next, the but eared foxes or maybe red coloured red foxes or something else?
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

I’m waiting for a good sized batch of red foxes to get cast, so we can paint ’em red. Casting is happening really slow. We have pretty much shut down the casting dept. (temporarily) because they were getting too far ahead of the painters.
We’ll paint bat eared foxes next, prolly.November 1, 2014 at 9:33 pm #921242Yay for the Bat ears!
Also, I thought of a another animal that’d be cute as a pebble, a Squirrel! 😉

Not currently open for PYO commissions.November 1, 2014 at 10:35 pm #921244I’d LOVE to see a ferret pebble! Maybe two ferrets intertwined around eachother or something? Or a ball-o-ferret if you prefer? LOL!
A red panda would be adorable. The good thing about ferrets and foxes and wolves is you can do lots of various colors though. I do heart me some raccoon dogs though <3
