Finally! A new Valdemar novel! And it’s the start of a whole series. I read that Mercedes Lackey was planning these books years ago and then nothing. I’ve always wondered if they were put on hold due to the similarity of another series about a kid going to school to learn about magic (you may have heard of that series 😉 😆 ).

I am doing a mental happy dance at the moment. Too bad we have to wait until October.

Awesome…I just love the worlds this lady creates. And I’m glad she wrote another Valdemar story…I’d heard she was done with Valdemar, which was disappointing. So I am glad to see this.

I saw it at the bookstore this past weekend, but I couldn’t bring myself to buy it since it was a hardback book. I only have a few authors (was three but now it is two) that I will buy hardbacks of because I just can’t afford them financially (or shelf-space wise).
