Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.October 1, 2012 at 3:36 pm #887010That’s a very cute little foo you got as a gift Bodine. What a nice surprise!! Thank you for all the great comments on my little tiger foo. I really like him and wish I could figure out how to take shots that really show the colors and details better.:)
October 1, 2012 at 10:42 pm #887032Hoorays For Little Foo’s! <3<3<3 I really like that the outdoor shots really show off its touch of Brindle. ^_^ "You really deserved that" *hugs*
October 1, 2012 at 10:52 pm #887033This FooP Is Special: This Cloud Spirit FooP has SM IceBlue Light eyes, ABx2 Amethyst Swarovski crystal, AB Crystals, and Other Crystals. Quite “Bling-y” 8)
Because of this, It is for sale at $80 including S&H in the US and Canada, and $85 Overseas.
I most likely will not do another one like this for a while. I wanted to see how it would look with extra Crystals. I have not made a decision whether I will use so many again or not. (unless a “commission-nee” requests it).
October 2, 2012 at 1:37 am #887049Really cool designs Amanda and that one you did for Bodine is sooooo pretty. Love the colors you chose for it and I know she really loves it a lot! You are so kind 🙂
October 2, 2012 at 3:55 am #887060Only the third photo of the Cloud Spirit FooP will open for me. It’s a pity, because he looks quite interesting. I wish the other photos would load, the pesky things.
October 4, 2012 at 12:17 am #887133How do you remove the ‘dot’ on the Foo Puppy’s head and replace it with a flatback Swarovski crystal?
October 4, 2012 at 12:57 am #887134Note that removal of part of the sculpt miiight be considered modifying it. This is super minor, but I don’t know how fine a line is covered or if it even matters. I just wanted to mention it so there are no surprises later. If you have any questions, John is your go-to person for answers (I have no answers!).

My art: featherdust.comOctober 4, 2012 at 9:01 am #887148Wow, everyone has done an awesome job on these foo pups. I’m still painting my first one, lol. There’s an awful lot of inspiration from this thread. So much talent. 🙂

Hmmm….Weird. The images are in the Paint-your-Own gallery. maybe you can see them there better?

I use my rotary tool, to drill it out, very carefully. Some of the crystals have pointed backs as well, but the method applies. I just use a different tip.

I did research this on the rules board and asked the powers that be, on PYO’s… it is okay to modify, because they are indeed PYO’s -No license issues(of that sort).
If there were tighter restrictions, why even bother offering PYO’s? It would be like doing re-paints, and not being allowed to share, and being sued…”What fun would that be?” …not very at all. 🙁 The thought of “defacing” a design in a less than flattering way, would be disheartening. I thought the premise of a PYO is for the “Paint-ee” to take creative liberty?….If this rule has changed, then I will return all my accumulated PYO’s back to Windstone.
BTW…I never have done a re-paint, and do not plan to.
