New painters are always welcome 🙂
Thank you ! I would so love to join in, but Im afraid I really wouldnt have enough time. It took 3 weeks to get my last order from Windstone… slow mail and customs… arrghh! So I wouldnt have hardly enough time to finish it and do a good job on top of that. Especially since I only have one day a week if that to paint.. since I work a lot… 🙁
But next time for sure ! When will the next one be anyways? In the winter maybe? Like Jan or Feb ? I do have 2 weeks vacation in Feb ! I can paint then! LOL!
October 2, 2014 at 3:20 pm #920013Mimi looks forward to these. Can both of us do one? I can’t paint too well though.
Of course you can! C’mon!
We say it will depend on funds.I think he should try right? Something small and easy like Foo pups or Wolf would be easy enough for his first one.He thinks the Keepers are intimidating.
I’m a new painter, but entered the last swap and am signed up again.
If funds are tight, perhaps do one of the new smaller sculpts? I love the kitty griffin and found it easy to paint. I’m doing a kitsune now and it’s fun, too. Since they are small and light, they’re easier on the pocketbook for shipping.
Life is beautiful.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmOctober 2, 2014 at 10:13 pm #920034I was interested but I am also in the same boat that I am afraid I wouldn’t have enough time. It can also take up to two weeks for me to get in a piece from Windstone and I just moved into a new house I am busy trying to organize and then I may have to find work. If the ship date was the end of Nov. or beginning of Dec. then I probably would have signed up.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

In the frenzy of checking what people wanted vs. what people had on hand, I completely missed that I assigned the same person twice to someone.
So one of you will be receiving a piece painted by the same artist.
Sorry.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmOctober 28, 2014 at 3:27 am #921089I’m kinda sad I missed this. I’ve been digging through my stack of unpainted PYOs since I had to get one out to paint my kitty. I have SO MANY. I really need to paint some of them. I even found two of the old “soft feather” gryphons, one of which has never even had its box opened…
Well, I shall have to stick around and sign up for the next one, I guess. 🙂
October 28, 2014 at 4:35 am #921091Blargh, I missed the sign up date too!! And I really wanted to do it this time. But maybe it’s for the best; I’ve only done one tiny foo pup yet and I don’t feel like I’ve really gotten the hang of it yet. Hopefully I’ll be ready in time for the next exchange in Spring. Good luck to everyone who’s participating; I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
October 28, 2014 at 12:33 pm #921097You guys can join us in the spring 🙂
