Great piece so far… hmm.. though I haven’t painted my kitty griff yet, she’s going to be mostly purple with yellow eyes and gem. I guess I’ll see how that turns out.

Keeping an eye out for fantasy gryphons and test paint dragons.

I bet she turns out awesome Stormbreeze πŸ˜€ I haven’t painted a kitty griff yet, it’s on my to do list though. I’m just bad with purple/yellow, I probably don’t do enough sunset scenes haha.

Speaking of purple and yellow…. thats the main colors of the griffin Im currently working on, lol! Actually its more of a yellow-orange, as I wanted to keep it a bit darker. And I am newer at painting, so I actually used my color wheel to come up with the colors Im using! I knew I wanted to work in mostly purples, and wasnt sure what colors to use with it. Using the color wheel helped me come up with the yellow-orange for the chest, and blue-green for the front legs πŸ˜‰ Its so neat seeing how nicely the colors go together. The color wheel has proven itself very useful to me πŸ˜›

Thank you Chloe!! πŸ˜€ I really appreciate it!

Alright everybody, here’s my newest PYO – sorry for being so late in posting this. Somehow I just didn’t get around to it until now, but yay, finally pictures! I’m pretty pleased with this one. After painting the other foops I really wanted one for myself and I’d like to paint it some matching parents sometime. πŸ™‚ His colouration is based upon the brightly defined colours of European Grey Wolves. (Buuuut I prefer the name ‘timber wolf’ because not all grey wolves are grey. ‘Timber wolf’ makes a lot more sense!)

I named him Cedar. <3 Also if anyone's wondering, he has Windstone's metallic tan eyes. πŸ™‚

More PYOs coming soon – Pricy the Exceedingly Expensive Unicorn and a really cool kitsune which I'm hoping I will be able to rehome. πŸ™‚

I love how you picked out the dragon’s scales in different shades of blue. It really makes them “pop” visually.

Yes, this was what I really liked about this dragon too! It’s a really nice pattern choice! The foop and dragon turned out very nicely! Glad to see pictures of them. It’s been awhile!

Pricy the Overly Expensive Unicorn is finished! Here’s a rough picture for now until I can grab some better, clearer shots with my dad’s Rebel. πŸ˜€ She’s a black and white tobiano, referenced off of photos of Gypsy Vanners. πŸ™‚ (Because my mom loooves those and Pricy will belong to her come Christmas! πŸ˜€ Hopefully she gives her a better name.) Pricy is lightly antiqued with very light pink and brown. πŸ™‚

I am pretty pleased with how well she came out and I’ve decided that the unicorn is one of my favourite PYO sculpts. It’s actually pretty stress free! I that hope I can paint some more unicorns soon, there’s a bazillion different ideas that I could use for it haha. πŸ˜€ (I’d especially really love to paint a buckskin or dun on it for some reason… drool!!)

Next: a kitsune! πŸ˜€ (Which will be up for sale/trade providing that I can part with it.)

I’m not sure what sort of PYO I should try to get my paws on after. I have excellent ideas for a kirin and adult foo dogs, so I guess it’ll be a manner of just what’s a better pick at the time. (Of course a rise in the Canadian dollar would help my PYO painting immensely. XD)
