My Foo arrived yesterday! Thank you so much, dragonmedley! I like him very much.
She made him look like tarnished brass and you really expect him to be cool metal when you touch him. Beautiful! He totally reminds me of quite a few Buddha statues I saw on my journey just recently 🙂

You know what’s funny? I got the idea from looking at my small brass buddha that my brother got me in China.

Oh good! I’m glad he arrived safely! The tracking showed they failed to deliver it before and I didn’t ask for a signature, so I was worried the Postal Service was being dumb again. >_< I took pictures, but with all the weather lately and my camera, picking up his details/coloring accurately has been tricky!
So many awesome foops out there! I can't wait for mine to arrive! I know shipping is delayed with him/her, so no worries! *patiently awaiting foop* *wiggles* ^_^
Sorry it has taken so long to post the pictures of the Foo puppy that I received from Skeeterdee ( Anita ). I have not been feeling very
well. I want to introduce you to ” Golden Leaves.” I really
love my Foo puppy. She was also so kind as to send a little friend
with my Foo, a cute little Halloween pumpkin. Thank you so much,
Skeeterdee. I will treasure both always.
This was my first PYO swap. I had a really fun time. The Foo puppy
I painted for Lokie was only the second PYO that I have ever painted.
The first was a winged wolf painted to look like my puppy, Darla ( my Avatar )
I was very nervous about painting a Foo for someone who has been painting
beautiful PYOs for some time now. I really hope that she likes it.

ghostdragon: I know what you mean by their mouth being tight. The trick I used was a tiny brush and strong reading glasses. I have a +2.0 and a +3.0 pair for crafts and can read super tiny text without any glasses. You wouldn’t think reading glasses could make you hand steadier but it does. I’ve also used a magnifiying lamp but find the glasses more comfortable(and generally cheaper).

The one I got is at my office and I won’t be there until maybe Wednesday, possibly Thursday or Friday. I am very sorry I haven’t had a chance to even open him up yet I have been so busy with everything.

My foop arrived Saturday from Pam! He arrived just in time for me to catch some good lighting outside, but have been fighting with Photobucket’s new update (my resizing shows up on the site, but not when I post off site *grrrr*). He is absolutely AWESOME and AMAZING and totally worth the wait! I love the Hades eyes! Would you believe this is her first pyo?
