I’m hoping I get enough Christmas money. 🙂 Or that the BF buys me one.

October 27, 2011 at 11:55 pm #861079I recently got a Nook Color as a celebration of being hired on as a contract employee at the school I’d been subbing at. LOVE it so far. Absolutely awesome and convenient.
October 28, 2011 at 5:12 pm #861111Big Congrats, PC!
I have an app for reading e-books on my cell phone. I love it. Now, I always have something to read while waiting in line anywhere. At the bus stop, the doctor, you name it. Or while traveling. But I still do buy paperbacks and the occasional hard bound book. Curling up on the couch with a throw over your feet, a mug of hot cider or hot chocolate, and the pets beside you is just not the same with an e-reader.

Sure it is! One of my dogs snuggles under my iPad when I read (sometimes turning the pages for me while he settles down).
Dog on lap, check.
Mug of tea, check.
Blanket in the winter, check.
iPad or Sony Reader, check.Yup, it works just like with paper books!

October 30, 2011 at 3:41 am #861254For me, it’s a toss between the tree of life, the Celtic hounds and the river garden. I only looked at the iPad covers, though. The selection is wider for the Nook.
