For the other three fogged spots on TJ’s scroll they are black eggs that are darker than the current black dragon egg.

Black alternates! π
You can only get alternates through breeding, right?
I wonder if that has anything to do with my dragons not breeding? I keep getting the message that they won’t go near each other no matter which pair I try.August 28, 2008 at 6:30 pm #678066khat7 wrote:eaglefeather831 wrote:pegasi1978 wrote:For the other three fogged spots on TJ’s scroll they are black eggs that are darker than the current black dragon egg.

I keep getting the message that they won’t go near each other no matter which pair I try.I know that on the dragcave forums there are people keeping records of their breeding success and which dragons they breed others with. I am also largely unsuccessful when I breed my dragons. π
August 28, 2008 at 9:44 pm #678067Mine have not refused each other so far, but I have only tried twice. Some breeds don’t breed within their own breed, too; I read that on the Dragcave Forums.
August 28, 2008 at 9:53 pm #678068Well the dragons are all unfogged. The three black hatchlings are alt blacks as they have the same commentary that the other black dragons do.

August 28, 2008 at 10:19 pm #678069Well, one of the hatchlings are different. I wonder why?
August 28, 2008 at 10:45 pm #678070I finally got a pair to breed. Resulting in a blacl egg and two purple. I kept the black.

TJ said somewhere that there are about 15 new dragons completed and waiting to be added to the cave.

August 29, 2008 at 2:26 am #678074Whoohoo! I finally got a female vine, so hopefully I will have a better chance of getting the vine alternate! π
August 29, 2008 at 6:41 pm #678075Congratulations, eaglefeather! I’ve noticed female vines are harder to come by; I only have one, unless this new one I bred turns out to be female.

Since we now get multiple eggs (sometimes) with breeding you can breed your male vines with a female of another dragon and still possibly get a green egg. Thats how I got mine. I actually had three purples and an green. I chose the green π
