I’m having trouble both at home and work where I remove grown dragon or dead babies or add them to the adult thread and they do not appear right away. I have to log out of the thread and back in to see the changes??
May 21, 2008 at 5:49 pm #677856Sounds like you have having caching issues. This means your computer is displaying old versions of the page. Next time you add some try hitting the ctrl and F5 keys together. That will force your computer to load a new version of the page.
May 21, 2008 at 6:04 pm #677857I will try that thanks!!

Yes, the chicken egg was abandoned with about 6+ days left for growth and it was healthy when I began. The split egg I got new from zero (the one hiding in the fog right now). I cant tell if it’s getting better unless I unhide it- which I can do for a second and if it’s well, then I’ll leave it defogged but if it’s still sick, he’s going back into hiding and may just not make it. Sucks cause I wanted a ying yang one so badly.
Im going to try to snag another egg soon (I was just snipered this hour) and see if Im being sabotaged and it gets sick again.

You have another now, yes? There have been a lot around lately. still, I hope it makes it!
May 21, 2008 at 10:47 pm #677860Hey folks, don’t forget to let DM know when you freeze a hatchling because then they don’t need clicks anymore.

I think there is a female one that has come out, and it’s a different color, so maybe that’s why there’s a surplus of them!
May 22, 2008 at 9:42 am #677862OK, this is getting ridiculous and yes, now I am paranoid. I picked up another identical 2 toned egg as you see in my signature. I just picked him up and he is ALREADY soft shelled and sick. This is the same kind of egg that Im hiding in the fog because he too in one day also became soft shelled & sick. I did this second one as a test and I can tell it seems like someone is messing with me. Or so I think. This is the only place I post and I didnt even tell Dragon Master that I had this new egg.
Whatever, but IF this is how someone gets their jollies, get a life first.
May 22, 2008 at 9:51 am #677863That’s very weird PT…

Clicks: 5Is the ratio unbalanced or something?
May 22, 2008 at 9:56 am #677864Dunno how ratios work but this number count is as normal as my others had started out. And getting sick in under 24 hours with those numbers seems foolish to me.

If you haven’t joined their forum you really should just so you can get some answers. That’s what I did. I don’t go there and post hardly at all. Only when I need help. Plus if someone is messing with your account TJ will be able to tell and hopefully stop it.

Okay…..
Don’t overexpose your eggs in the first 24 hours. This includes your signature. Everytime a page is opened with your signature in it your eggs get “viewed” That is why they have a small amount of clicks, and quite a few views. Keep your eggs out of your signature for at least 24 hours!
Second I highly doubt anyone is messing with your account. See above. If you don’t want to follow my advise don’t.
They are not on Gaia, I would have seen them. Plus, if they were on somebody would have had to spam the bump threads with them to get that much of an imballance!

It seems healthy now. I have noticed that when I get a new egg and view it in my scroll that sometimes it gets a click and no hits and so gets softshell immediately. It usually balances out quickly… it probably had something to do with the ratio of clicks, views and unique views.
Anywho, congratulations on its being healthy now!May 22, 2008 at 4:07 pm #677868Hmm I *just* picked up an egg literally a minute ago and it says the shell is soft..? And I just bred one literally a minute ago and it says it’s soft too… so I hid them for now.. should I just wait until it doesn’t say soft to unhide them?
May 22, 2008 at 4:33 pm #677869If you view your eggs right away you already set up an imbalance. Just go to your scroll and then click the link for them and it will help rebalance things.
