Just seeing this now, and am very sad to read it. She was so sweet too. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

          Oh no 🙁

I never actually spoke with her, but I doubt everyone here would have such nice things to say if she hadn’t been a wonderful lady.

Rest in peace ddvm. You will have no more pain now.

Wow Jennifer, those threads brought back a lot of memories. I’m still very saddened by the news, but these photos remind me that her life is one that should be celebrated. She was a wonderful person, as is Nirvanacat

Thank you Jen for posting this – this is Pam’s little sister Joanne. Thank you for all your lovely comments and thoughts. Pam always spoke very highly of her Windstone family and how awesome everyone was and how she considered you guys her forum family. Pam and I met up with Jen at a convention in New York a couple of years ago and Pam was so excited – I took a picture of Pam and Jen together that I actually had playing in the slide show during her wakes.
Pam had Windstone’s dragons with her at the end – the last week she spent in hospice and my daughter and I decorated her room before she arrived and brought over some – took pictures to show her what we had done and she sent us back to her house for more!! She truely loved her dragons and poads and they were always in her sights!!

My heart is broken–I have spoken to Pam a few times over the phone. We became friends when she posted after a difficult bout of her treatment and I sent her the open-eyed orange tabby. When times got tough for me, she sent me a red-eyed stained glass Poad.

I will miss her and I will miss talking with her. She was a great, great lady, kind and generous. We will miss you, Pam–may you be lifted.

I’m so sorry to hear this. ddvm was a wonderful lady. I always admired her for being so kind, and for all the wonderful things she had to say about animals. When I lost my guinea pig her comments really made me feel better. That she took the time to console a stranger over the loss of a pet rodent was just so… nice. I’ll never forget that.

Rest in peace, ddvm. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Oh wow……that is crazy! She bought my Mardi Gras pyo wolf I painted back in Feb. Take good care of it for her. She emailed me when she was getting sick that she loved it. 🙂
