I had a 6th grade teacher named Anita Peters….they gave her a miserable time. But with a name like that it doesn’t seem wise to go into teaching. 🙄
This is probably a stupid question, but what’s wrong with that name?

Well… Anita sounds like “I need a”, and Peter(s) is a nickname for a male naughty bit. 😳
September 22, 2007 at 5:17 am #615678Ah. I just learned something else I didn’t need to know.
Thanks, Maebnus.September 22, 2007 at 5:43 am #615679😆
September 22, 2007 at 6:57 am #615680I used to have a friend, who teaches karate, named Chad Bates. We all called him “Master Bates” 😀
Used to go to highschool with a chinese/vietnamese guy named “Hung Long”. 😀
There was also a vietnamese girl named Bich… it is pronounced “Bic” like the pen, but all the teachers called her “Bitch”, on the first day of school…sucks 😯
September 22, 2007 at 7:02 am #615681I also had a coach in 7th grade named Coach Suraz. He was a short little guy, around 5’6, but he was really buff. He was also a jerk! He would always brag about how much he can bench and squat, and he would always try to threaten and intimidate us in class. He also spit alot. So all the students called him “Coach Sore Ass”. It was cool because it sounded enough like his name that we couldn’t get in trouble for it.
September 22, 2007 at 8:22 am #615682LOL @ Nam! Hows your Chai??! 😆
Hahaha!! Bonnie Beaver! Thats just not right!
September 23, 2007 at 6:23 am #615683In Michigan I found out that “Dung” is a first name…

Yup…my friend’s bro is named “Dung”. It is pronounced “Yom” though. Kinda makes me wonder why they spell it “Dung”… 😕
September 23, 2007 at 1:43 pm #615685That’s weird.
September 24, 2007 at 12:28 pm #615686In Michigan they have a city named Climax too. I drove through it, and laughed my @$$ off! Guess I never quite believed my ex about that one!
I had a friend in highschool names Jason Butts…His dad’s name was Harry. 😯 😆September 24, 2007 at 6:36 pm #615687That’s pretty close to child abuse, if you ask me. 😆
September 24, 2007 at 8:30 pm #615688I knew a guy named Richard Less. The sad thing is he’s a junior so his dad went through the teasing and then made his son go through it.
(think nicknames for Richard)

OMG…
although…my dad has the same name…and our last name is Lake…
just imagine that one too…
not as funny but interesting the same…
September 24, 2007 at 8:43 pm #615690Yikes! Poor Richie… I think I would’ve changed my name as soon as I was legally able.
Man, I’m glad my name wasn’t bad. I just had a last name that looked weird. Got made fun of some, but only by stupid boys that laughed at anything not normal. It’s not like there’s any missing vowels or extra consonants…
People nowadays should always consider nicknames when naming their kid. And factor in the last name too. Especially boys, since they’re most unlikely to change it through marriage.
