Here is a Phoenix and a foo mom I am working on. Not done yet but they will be for sale when completed. Wish cameras picked up reds better. The foo mom has alizarin crimson on her and it show a weird red tone. Darn cameras.

Inspiration for the Phoenix was this Golden Chinese Pheasant! Love the colors and did my own take on it. Still a work in progress.

I love the gradation from red to gold on your Foo Mom. If she looks this good and you’re not done yet…she’ll look AMAZING when she’s done. And the tail pattern on the phoenix is impressive.

They are beautiful Brandy and yep,I agree about not being able to get your true colors to show in pics.It is always a nice surprise when you get one home and it is so much more than you thought from photos :bigsmile:

Thanks To both of you!!! Wow DM glad someone thinks so. I am actually pretty happy with the way Phoenix is turning out!! 🙂 I love the feather detail and my blending worked really good on chest, neck and crest

This little fellow is a birthday gift for my Niece. These are her favorite colors and she wanted a dragon that represented all her favs. Hope I did the colors justice LOL

Thanks all for comments 🙂 ya this fellow is loud n proud. I really like how he turned out. Of course… Now that he’s done I can see where I could have blended better, detailed more, added this…. Added that… But for my first go at this color scheme I am overall pleased. I only had a week start to finish for him as I needed to take him with me to manitoba to give to her so not bad for under 7day beginning to end and making the eyes too.
