I think you did a great job, too! Just fill in the holes and paint over it. 🙂
January 18, 2007 at 4:02 pm #528830I’m gonna go out and get paint this afternoon I think. It’s finally warm enough that the kids won’t get frost bite 😆 We still have ice all over everything, and it’s sunny, so it’s beautiful outside!! I haven’t ever seen this much ice, no wind either so it’s sticking around…
January 18, 2007 at 4:32 pm #528831We got an ice storm too- I am currently staying home to work.
January 18, 2007 at 7:00 pm #528832That’s great so far:)
January 18, 2007 at 8:39 pm #528833Oh boy, was that a trip….I could tell my kids weren’t being perfect because the “artist” in the paint & brush aisle was rolling her eyes….b**ch 👿 ! I HATE that, it makes me so angry….*taking deep breath* I’m sitting here now with my dry hard clay, lovely paint brushes, and some golden fluid acrylics…got me some golden retarder and some deco antiqueing stuff. So I’m all set to fix my griff and start my wolf….
I’m guessing I just stick this clay on, try to blend in the textures with some tools?? I was thinking about trying to make a mold from one of the good claws from polyclay to use for the missing toe&claw. Maybe use 2 peices of polyclay, some veggie oil so nothing sticks. has anyone had any success with this?
January 18, 2007 at 8:48 pm #528834Dont attack the sculpt while you are angry! 😆

You know, I used to be like that with other people’s kids too then I had Kyle now Blake and I hear a kid crying and think “oooh, he’s so mad” or “I bet he’s hungry” depending ont he cry. We also give that cringing sad smile as if to say “We completely understand” which inevitably turns into a conversation of “Oh, we have a 3-year old, we know what you’re going through:)”
January 18, 2007 at 9:13 pm #528836The thing is that they weren’t even being very disruptive…I just can’t stand pretensious snooty bags that show any dislike towards my kids. It’s poor manners and it pisses me off. My kids are very good and anyone would have been impatient standing in the same aisle for 40 minutes while I looked at brushes and paints….I’m really protective, can you tell? 😆
I’m gonna sit down with the griff tonight after hubby gets home and there are no interuptions. I just have to remember to take my time…no pressure.
January 18, 2007 at 9:20 pm #528837Don’t take it to heart, asinnamon. People just seem to become more ignorant by the day. Kids have a bit of an excuse for their behavior – they’re kids after all. I like the adults that stop for no reason or stop in the middle of an aisle to chat; leave their carts in the way and walk away; push past you or practically run you over, like they are on a Mission From God. I do as much shopping online as possible. When supermarkets will do your food shopping for you, I may become a hermit. lol
