Thanks all! It really does feel good to be painting again. I think my soul was starving for some much needed art time. LOL
Oh, bayou, I know how that feels! My problem right now is that I’ve got too many irons in the fire–PYOs, jewelry, costuming, and steampunk accessories…plus the never ending book that I haven’t so much as looked at in weeks.
I need to focus on getting a few projects actually FINISHED soon instead of waffling all over the place. I’m in an “accumulate” phase–more beads, more paints, more eyes, more more more! Loads of ideas from all this stuff…but nothing gets done this way. *shakes head*
Make time for the creative work, it’s good for you. Can’t wait to see what you have up next!

Oh yes. I’m definitely accumulating too. LOL I have a wood burner that’s taunting me right now… as well as some sculpting supplies. I was able to do some “traditional” canvas art last weekend, and now I want to jump back into that as well. Even just being part-time right now has worn out its welcome. Having to stop what I’m doing in the morning and go in for a few hours makes it hard to get anything done. I told them I’m not going in next week. I need to focus on some art and get some renovations on the condo done. After struggling to make the decision to leave, I can’t believe how bad I want to cut the cord! LOL
