MINE!
LOL! 😆
Well, here’s the new ocean-themed kirin…. Umi. I had to do some serious color adjustment on this guy. His photos kept coming out blue when he’s actually teal in color. The adjustment kinda ruined the richness, but at least he’s close to the right color. The photo does not do him justice. I will try for some better ones tomorrow. He has the metallic teal eyes to match. ^_^
He will be for sale soon (as soon as I get decent pics), but I have no qualms about keeping this one. 😀
I love this kirin!! So rich and beautiful!! Hope you get a bunch for him.
July 30, 2011 at 3:24 pm #852422OK, maltese tiger #3 is finished… finally. Summer camp really cuts into my painting time, but I refuse to rush any paint job. This guy is a little different from the other two. One, he has custom eyes (from DreamingTree). Second, he doesn’t have stripes on the top of his head. I actually prefer him this way because you get to see the feather work. All he needs is his tail gems.
Up next is a keeper painted in the same theme as my little dragon, Sunlit Pines. I think I will name the keeper Tall Pines… LOL. The color looks slightly off on my monitor though. He is still in progress and is a commission for another forum member. 🙂
I have a phoenix up next after this.
July 30, 2011 at 6:17 pm #852433Wow, loving that blue griffin! The keeper is looking great too, nice deep greens
July 30, 2011 at 6:25 pm #852434So, SO gorgeous Bayou!!! You are truly a master at feathers! I could stare at your griffins for hours 😀 I too love the deep greens on the Keeper – I can’t wait to see him finished!

The gryphon PYOs are my favorite pyos and I just love how it turned out.
The phoenix is also gorgeous.July 31, 2011 at 11:48 am #852494The maltese tiger was worth the wait to see. Amazing! I think the feather work is out of this world, how you blend and detail. I’m waiting for him to fly. 😀

Lol, Tall pines works. I love your keeper! I remember seeing sunlit pines and the keeper is a great match. I congratulate your customers on their new additions. 🙂 Bayou, excellent job!

September 4, 2011 at 2:54 am #855315September 4, 2011 at 5:23 am #855319Gorgeous!! Soooo gorgeous!! I love monochromatic schemes that don’t SEEM monochromatic, you know what I mean? I mean obviously that dragon is green, but it’s so detailed with the antiquing and the light green and (do i see gold interference?) it’s just so beautiful
