daydreamer wrote:WOW!!! now that is a uni that i would actually buy!! gahhh…. absolutely BRILLIANT. you are amazing… the colors and the placement/design of it all is perfect. i think i am going to go and hide my head under a rock now in shame. i dont even want to look at my in-progress pyos after seeing that… :sigh:
Right back at ya, daydreamer… every time I see one of your beautiful works of art posted on your FB, I feel the same way. I really need to get my butt in gear when it comes to traditional artwork. 🙄
August 18, 2010 at 1:31 am #769665AnonymousWow – I just scrolled up and saw the Kimono Unicorn, how beautiful and what a great idea! So I went a little further and saw your Griffon and the blending IS beautiful! You are a great artist! I had to laugh that you mentioned a painting burst…….that’s how I get with cleaning 😡 But you sure can get a lot done when the burst hits!! 🙂
August 18, 2010 at 9:22 pm #769666Oh wow, that unicorn is so gorgeous!! I’m in awe of your blending skills, beautiful work!

may-be… 😆
I’m waiting on the eyes to come in before I work on it anymore. I want to make sure the face area balances itself out. I will post pics when I’m done. 🙂
In the meantime, I’ve jumped backed to the griffin. I’ve been working on his display side so it’s no longer naked. I still have lots to do. The feathers are in different stages of completion.
August 26, 2010 at 11:49 am #769669Wow 😮 …
That is one gorgeous griffin in the making. I love the way you paint the feathers. Beautifully executed, BD 😉August 26, 2010 at 1:53 pm #769670I REALLY need to get a commission from you, I LOVE THAT GRIFFIN! 😉

September 20, 2010 at 1:35 am #769675Painting update… I’ve been plugging away at the top of the wings. Again, feathers are in various stages of completion so I can transition them down and across to the sides. It’s a darn good thing I like blue. XD LOL
September 20, 2010 at 1:40 am #769676You’re SO AMAZING!
