February 16, 2010 at 3:42 pm #769500Thanks, everyone, for your wonderful comments. There’s a few things I want to do today, but I should have more done later. 🙂
February 16, 2010 at 7:08 pm #769501*gasp 😮 * That griffin is absolutely STUNNING! Your technique for painting the feathers is amazing. It looks so natural and soft 😉 .
February 16, 2010 at 10:54 pm #769502That is looking fantastic! Awesome accentuation of the feather texture and the soft shifts in the blue are just yummy. Cool!!
February 17, 2010 at 3:45 pm #769503That is one gorgeous tiger griffin!
February 17, 2010 at 8:06 pm #769504Beautiful so far! Not that I imagine it will be anything but at completion.
February 18, 2010 at 12:27 am #769505Absolutely fabulous! Gorgeous! That is one pretty blue and black griffin.
February 18, 2010 at 11:03 pm #769506WOW! Beautiful work, your blending is superb!!
February 23, 2010 at 4:46 am #769507OK, no one panic… you didn’t miss anything. The maltese griff is still in the works. I just need a little break. I’ve put in 40 hours on the maltese griff so far, and I just need a break from all that feather blending. I needed a little change of pace for a bit.
So, I had one wolf left, and I have been DYING to go all out with the interference paints. I normally only use interference paints for accents and little touches of flair here and there. Well, I kinda let loose and here’s the result. I could definitely do more of these… maybe one with straw eyes and wings in the yellow/green color range.
I think I’m going to name him “Mystic”. 🙂 And I’m pretty sure I going to keep this one… at least for a while. 😆
February 23, 2010 at 6:19 am #769508That’s really neat.
February 23, 2010 at 6:22 am #769509oooooo, pretty!
February 23, 2010 at 1:46 pm #769510Well, if you ever get tired of him… 😈 😳
Beautiful work! But then black wolves are an obsession of mine! 😆 😀
