*gasp 😮 * That griffin is absolutely STUNNING! Your technique for painting the feathers is amazing. It looks so natural and soft 😉 .
That is looking fantastic! Awesome accentuation of the feather texture and the soft shifts in the blue are just yummy. Cool!!
OK, no one panic… you didn’t miss anything. The maltese griff is still in the works. I just need a little break. I’ve put in 40 hours on the maltese griff so far, and I just need a break from all that feather blending. I needed a little change of pace for a bit.
So, I had one wolf left, and I have been DYING to go all out with the interference paints. I normally only use interference paints for accents and little touches of flair here and there. Well, I kinda let loose and here’s the result. I could definitely do more of these… maybe one with straw eyes and wings in the yellow/green color range.
I think I’m going to name him “Mystic”. 🙂 And I’m pretty sure I going to keep this one… at least for a while. 😆
