Here’s my second brindle kirin. 🙂 Almost the same as the first… Slightly different in the face, and a little difference in the color of the belly and the belly’s transition to the other scales. I love antiquing the kirin scales!
Tons of layers went into this guy, for the brindle stripes as well as getting a deep smooth finish on the scales. There are also about 5 layers of antique on there… His nose and hooves are pretty dark so they blend into the background a bit.
Hope you like him mmloda! He and the tiger griff look pretty smashing together… I’ll be sad to see them both go!

Sorry if I or some one else asked you this before (my memory is poop), but do you paint everything by hand or are those scales air brushed? The coating is just so perfect and smoooth <3
