So I am ending a few items today that had the most attention and shipping them tomorrow. I will not be shipping much next week, just FYI. Normal 2-3 day processing times will resume after Nov 18th so many items may sit for a little while as I won’t be able to be on as much as usual after the weekend.

Once I whittle down the ebay thread a little I have a few new items I will add Friday and they will stay up 5-7 days at which I’ll do another rotation. I will do my best to keep up with bids. I won’t be adding a super lot, maybe 3 or 4 new pieces.

LOL, I am pretty sure there is a mate in the batch for him, but I haven’t confirmed it, nor do I know if I find if it’s in sound condition so that’s a good opportunity to get the set. It took me a long time to get mine. Most of the ebay stuff has been in great shape. It’s the production stuff/ items they didn’t have their boxes that were perhaps bought second hand on ebay or whatever that didn’t fair as well in such a long storage. I missed out on the female but eventually got her 2nd hand a few years later, or else I’d be all over it too. ^_^ They’re a really lovely set, a nice variant on the original.

Another update, I haven’t been in touch with the owner for a while concerning another drop off, but she did tell me she is very busy this time of year. I’m not sure when I will get a new batch of items but I’m thinking sometime in late Jan to early Feb. In the mean time I did list a few more items recently and update the galleries in the two ads. There are still a few straggler pieces I have on the ebay end but they mostly have sister or family pieces I am waiting to receive so I can attempt and keep families together for those who are looking to keep them as sets and I want to be sure of their conditions first. (blue ice griffin family, griffin chick sets, etc.)

Also, I was hoping it wasn’t going to come to this but I’m going to make sort of an announcement that please keep in mind this was a fellow collector and her family that we are dealing with. Please be respectful and know that these folks are well aware, as well as I am well aware of the worth and value of these pieces. This is not a free for all. ddvm’s family is being very generous with items that have even minor damage by considering bids as low as half the current market value even after I have fixed the damages free of charge. Please keep bids at a respectful level. I’m not saying low bids are not allowed, but please let’s start them off at 50% of what the sculpture currently retails at. I don’t think that is unreasonable. I have already sold several pieces at about that pricing if they do not have any other bidders during the duration of the ads (1 month) but only after receiving approval from the family that I can do so. Again, these are not my items and I do not have final say on deep discounts, however I will say more consideration is being given for those buying multiple items.

So again, let’s all try to remain respectful of those wishes. I’m sorry if it is becoming a long process on certain production items that are less in demand and have been sitting in the ads for a while now. Reasonable offers close to market value will not be refused on production items, discounts taken of course for damages, but significantly lower bids will take time to sit and see if they can garner more attention, that is only natural. Keep patient and you very well may get a great deal though, as time goes on these pieces are going to all need to have new homes so the longer they sit the more apt greater discounts will be honored. Let it be said though I am not even half way through this collection… MAYBE 1/3rd of the way…

I have had also had a few people change minds, back out of sales and lower their bids as well which is fine, but please notify me of these changes before we discuss declaring the item sold to you. I know things happen, but as the saying goes, serious bidder please.

I honestly would do the same for the other items in the production ad, but I have limited space on characters and I’m already very close to the max, I have to keep altering descriptions to squeeze every last character I can to get all the pieces in there I can LOL. Once it clears out a little I may do the same thing with the production items in time.

I just can’t time to entertain bids for 10 and 15 dollars, or even $50 on pieces that retail for 300$+ I’m volunteering a lot of time and energy to do this so fair and respectable bids are all I ask. We are selling production and limited production pieces well below retail if there is not a surplus of interest in the item, but requests for a 50% or more of a discount is getting a little ridiculous. I can’t waste time arguing over why someone is entitled to a piece for a particularly low price and I am not comparing these items to the recent prices of similar items that have sold on ebay and matching said prices. This is not aimed at anybody in particular, I have had several inquiries that meet this criteria, but let it be said ebay is still up and running and if someone thinks a price is unfair you simply do not have to purchase it. I personally think the family is being more then generous with offering these items up as they have been.

So again, I ask for your equal respect and patience. When now items arrive I will make another post to alert those who are interested.
