WOW! What a nice grab, by far my favorite! Love the red dots and blue circles, and everything! Congrats!
Thanks ! The red dots really threw me off, as i didn’t see any like that in the class pics or on the live stream that I can remember. I do love him 🙂
November 21, 2014 at 10:06 pm #922112What a lovely grab! I’d say it would be a keeper for me – Nice!
So Moms decided, has she? She didn’t say a word to me 🙁 ….

I’m still waiting to hear about whether or not we might get a kitsune restock because I’d really like one or two for Christmas too if I could manage it, but I’m starting to think I might need to just go ahead and bite the bullet and get another one of these little guys anyway.

Well I assume she has decided, but knowing her I may not know until Christmas! LOL !
And yes,my new Hoppy poad has settled in well with the family here, so she wont be going anywhere 😉 I think she is very unique to DragOnfeathers 🙂
November 22, 2014 at 3:48 am #922123Wow, Amstaff that is a great catch. I love your baby poad! Congrats on getting such a pretty baby. 🙂

old animal line frog, wolf, barn owl, tortoise, tiger cubNovember 22, 2014 at 5:59 am #922125Nice one Amstaff! Yours also looks like a sister to my poad that I love! I figured out that those of us who got the poads with the red highlights on the tops of the heads are the same poads that were pictured before as just being purple, blue and teal. It looks like Melody decided to add the red details on top and more of the teal spots on the bottoms later on.
Well good news everyone! I posted this on another thread but will repeat it here too. My missing package was finally and mysteriously delivered today to my old address which I just moved from. The neighbor was nice enough to call me and let me know it arrived at the door since I was going back everyday to check for it so good thing I didn’t accuse her of stealing it. It had been opened and re-taped which I think Canada Post may have done but the poads were also opened and re-wrapped not very carefully and the paper was a bit ripped. Overall I am happy my box showed up but I am super disappointed in Canada Post. It took me days to track down the phone number to call the depot and I left two messages and no one even called me back. I also left a note on the door of the house to leave a delivery slip and they clearly just left the box at the door. I still have no explanation as to where it disappeared to for the last week but I was getting really depressed about it being lost so was so relieved today to hear it showed up! The tracking was never updated since it showed as delivered last week and I just find the whole thing odd. In the future I am either getting different shipping with insurance or signature confirmation or having my packages sent to my dad’s address. We did move to a new address but I can’t really have anything shipped here either because the people downstairs are the only ones with the community mailbox keys. Anyway I am in a lot better mood now and thankful it showed up. So with that said I now have a hippie poad along with another hoppy poad. I will post pictures shortly but I am happy with the hippie one and will be trading the hoppy one.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
November 22, 2014 at 6:51 am #922127Oh thats so awesome it finally showed up ! Good to hear 🙂 Cant wait to see pics 😛
And thats cool we kinda have sisters !
November 22, 2014 at 11:32 am #922130Finally I am able to show the poads from the missing box! Here is my hippie poad and she was actually one I wanted so I have had good luck with 3 poads so far! I didn’t really have one favourite hippie poad this time as there were several I liked but I would say the winged ones and pink eyed ones were my favourites. So I would be happy to keep this one unless someone has another one of my favourites for trade.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
November 22, 2014 at 11:39 am #922132Here is the other hoppy poad we got. This one is bright and so pretty and I like the purple on the bottom but we already got an orange eyed one so this one will be for trade for one with blue or green eyes or maybe even red or black eyes. I like rainbow colours all over or one with mint, teal, purple, blue or a combination of those colours.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
November 22, 2014 at 1:22 pm #922133Those are both really lovely poads Kim, the hippie especially! I bet someone will want to trade for the orange-eyed sherbety looking one. 🙂
I broke down and ordered another gb poad for myself last night. I was too worried to wait for a possible kitsune restock; I will just order those separately at some point when they come back. I think the little guy should arrive in time for Christmas–but I won’t be allowing myself to open to the box to find out what he looks like until then.
November 22, 2014 at 2:56 pm #922137Very nice catches there Kim !!! I really like that hoppy poad 😉 So glad they found their way back home 🙂
November 22, 2014 at 3:30 pm #922139Here are two lovely Hoppy Poads I just got in yesterday. The first one is a gorgeous green-eyed poad who’s colors go from gold, to yellow to lime green to a bright cerulean blue coloration all around his belly and rump. The second is a beautiful red eyed poad who’s colors go from a dark red, to a lighter red, to a medium blue, then a lighter blue. She is the one featured in the top middle of the small class photo shown in the Hoppy Poad Checkout. Each have cute copper colored beaks. They are gorgeous but have decided to put them up for trade for ones that speak a little more to me.
