The Veligent – page 124

Gad, never thought I get this page out! My computer kept freezing up and refusing to save things. That is THE most totally terrifying thing that can happen when one has nearly finished a page!

As usual, some words are a bit hard to read, and I see some word balloons are overlapping incorrectly… oh well. I’ll fix stuff when I get a chance!

Question… where should I put quotation marks in this case? On the ends of the entire quote? -or around each paragraph?

Or like I did, around groups of words in a word balloon when I felt like it needed it?

The only thing I can’t read is the word after “That was so sweet” (assuming there is one).

I wondered what had happened to the blue rock! How did the demon carry it?

It was rolled inside the read that Podge was holding in her beak, while the demon was giving her a lift home in his mouth.
I didn’t show any of this. Now to figure out how a demon dog wolf wrote a letter.
The last word is “sniff”, like he’s tearing up.

Before that – how did the demon carry the blue stone while he was moving around before meeting Podge? Or was the stone just lying in or near the cage for a while?

It was in the cage after the skirmish. The demon knew it was precious, and intended to return the blue stone somehow, but he wasn’t sure how to do that at the time. That is why he didn’t just run off for home. He was thinking.

I think that your quotation marks are correct as they are now.

Ohhh! Watcha got to say now mister Big Cheese? Seriously if he intends to continue pursuing war he will have an outright mutiny on his hands.

On my monitor the female guard in front (brown hair & grey outfit) has a green face both places that she appears.

Yep. I need to review all of these pages on a color correct monitor. I just can’t tell what color things are! Serence’s outfit looks bright green on this monitor. It is supposed to be more like olive green.

its also on a string, so should have been easy to carry in either of his forms.

I don’t see him carrying it, though, either when Podge is in a tree or on pages 120 and 121. I suppose that writing on the read and rolling the rock inside took place off stage someplace between page 113 (Podge in tree) and page 120 (demon carrying Podge/snarling at Serence).
