August raffle prize

I hate August. Too hot and too many zucchinis around.

To compensate for my foul mood, I refinished a beautiful little Young Oriental dragon as the August prize.
This is “Redbow”. He is a young oriental dragon with a tiny dent in his belly scales, but he is otherwise a gorgeous “red fire” piece that I decorated with spots of black and metallic gold on the large body scales and dusted with interference blue on his face and flanks. He has gold plated pewter horns , metallic periwinkle eyes and holds a dichoic globe in his paws.

If you would like a chance to win Redbow, email me your real name, and address and forum name, with the words “August 2012 raffle” in the subject line –

send to: Reptangle (at) gmail (dot) com

I will pick a winner at the end of the month and announce who you are in the Announcements section here on the forum.

This raffle is free to all Windstone forum members who haven’t previously won a Monthly raffle.
(The quests are a separate deal. If you have won a quest you may still enter this raffle)
Notes: I will be sure to find your entry if you use these exact words in the subject line: August 2012 raffle

Please don’t use the main Windstone email address; it makes your entry harder to find!

If you aren’t yet a member and would like to join, the “register” button is at the top of this page… Welcome!

Wait… what? How many are too many zucchinis? Also, how do you accomplish this?

I clearly need to figure this out as I am currently operating under a zucchini shortage…

They are everywhere. On desks, in the mold department, on the lunch table. Fortunately there are a few people that prey on them. Not me.

  3. Oh purr! Love him =)

And congrats on the early posting Miss Melody XD I have been keeping an eye out for flying pigs since I saw how early you got this up this month *snicker*

As for the zucchini, maybe someone around there can make bread or cookies out of them! You would hardly even know they were in there that way. HUGS!

  4. Gorgeous colour 🙂
I’m not a fan of Zucchini either. If I’m going to eat it, it has to be grated up finely and among lots of other flavours so that I can’t taste it!

  5. He’s stunning! Good luck to all those enter.

Make Chocolate Zucchini cake(with chocolate chips). It tastes awesome and it super moist.

  6.
I haven’t been on the forum in awhile. How do i sign up for the raffle again?
You send an email. Melody explains it in her description above – where to send your email, what to put in the subject line, etc.

  7. Really pretty, I love the darker spots on his scales. I might have to enter the raffle for this one! As for zucchinis, I used to hate them. But I turned vegetarian recently and there seems to be a lot of squash and zucchini in vegetarian cooking. I’ve learned to like them grilled with lots of seasoning.
