Thinking of selling my 1st run Black Violet Peacock Old Warrior. It looks just like the BVP Proto in the photo here…

Now, I’m not 100% on this quite yet. I talked with Susie about it and chances are good there is only about 10 or 12 of them like this out there since there was one and only one batch, before the newest release of the ones with the green in them, so I’m really just gauging interest at this point of what people may offer for him.
I’m just trying to play it safe, in case things do not work out well for my cat who has fallen ill this past week. He’s okay SO FAR, but not out of the woods, so just in the off chance he has to get rushed back to the vet I was thinking of getting some savings together in the off chance he goes in the other direction.
If there is a huge emergency I have plenty of stuff I know I could hock in a pinch if I had to between Grab Bags and ebay stuff, but since I got the newer version of this OW, I’m not quite as attached to the original as I was, but I don’t mind keeping him either.

What you could do is put him on ebay with a crazy high reserve (like $1,000) and see how high the bidding gets. That way you’re not obligated to sell, but if the price is high enough, you can opt to sell to the high bidder at the end. One of the BVP version 2 OW’s was on ebay for a starting bid of $300 and I dont think anyone bid on it.
The only thing going for him really is he’s one of the very very few with no green. That makes him very rare, but that may not matter to a lot of people. *shrug* Hence why I was just sort of testing the waters. Maybe he’s not worth anything more then store price, I don’t know. If that’s the case, I’d probably just keep him.
He’s gorgeous, but I don’t really NEED two that are so similar is all. I also have a Black and Gold and a prototype BEP so I have 4 black old warriors now >_< LOL! ...it defeats the purpose of selling, but I would trade him for the combo of the male, mother, and fledgie in BVP since I wasn't able to get any of those. I know that's more then what store price would be, but I'm pretty sure I paid even more then that for him second hand.
