So I’m a super gamer nerd! Alright, not SUPER gamer nerd, but I am a nerd. I’ve been playing WoW off and on since the first year that it came out and I’m pretty excited since the newest expansion pack is due to be released tomorrow at midnight! That means I get to look forward to 2-3 hours of tedious uploading, server overloads, and finally when I get to play the game, a ton of people to fight over quests with! Still, it’ll be a lot of fun 😀
I got a chance to play Beta for a while – I think Kujacker also played Beta, and I know there are a few other WoW players in the mix here. So who’s with me – anyone else putting their paintbrushes down for a few days? What are you going to do first?
I’ll be making a Goblin Shaman, followed closely by a Worgen Druid (I like playing both sides of the field 😉 )

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Yar! I’ve been playing since vanilla too, and am not sure yet what I’ll do. I’ll probably hold off on creating a new race toon and let the packs die down a bit, just level one of my 80’s on up and go from there.
I just started the game last week, got a maxed lvl 60 Orc hunter. I’m prolly not going to upgrade, or not yet at least. I think I would just play it 2 much, and I don’t want to do that to friends and fam.
One of my co-workers, I would put him in the super gaming nerd catigory… He’s taking off the next 4 days and plans to stay up for days straight playing, maybe until Friday. lol
I do enioy it, and will get on every so often to go hunt the Alliance noobs. (no offence!) 😀I created a Troll Druid with the 4.0 patch. Hate hate hate that Alliance got the Worgen 🙄
I’m not at all excited about the goblin, but will probably create something.
It’s gotten really competitive in the dungeons and there seems to be players that will find something to b1tch about if you make an error or are completly new to the place. Makes it no fun.
Then the Allies corpse camping. I mean really. An 80 really feel the need to gank a 40 several times??? :shout: So it’s been awhile since I put my heart into it! 😀I have 6 level 80s that I’ve yet to choose where to distribute points to…
I too play!! I have a level 72 Human mage, and a level 60 Draenei priest… among a whole list of others 😳

UD Priest is what I started out on years ago! I gave her to my brother for Christmas a few years ago when I decided that I wanted a BE Priest instead. I’m a bit of an Altoholic.. I have 2 80 druids (one Horde, one Alliance), 2 80 Paladins (same deal ><), and a Hunter, Mage, Death Knight and Priest all to 80. 😆

I felt the same way when they first announced the new Races – but believe me, the Goblins grow on you! I especially love their accents – they sound like they come straight from Brooklyn! I love the Worgens but honestly their voices bother me a little. I always play female (the only exception to that is my Tauren Druid) and the female Worgen voices are pretty gruff, especially when in Worgen form. Still, I love all of the half animal Races 😀
I feel for you about the ganking – thats why my BF and I switched to a PVE server about 6 months ago in anticipation of the expansion – we were getting sick of just wanting to level and just getting ganked instead! We both had several 80’s on our old server so it would turn into one of us sticking around and “taunting” the ganker while the other got on their 80 and ran out to kill them 😆 it would take wayyyy too much time out of leveling.
I doubt any of us are on the same servers, but out of curiosity, which do you guys play on?

And really, I don’t mind the PVP, but I’m not one of those players that bother to gank, so I get frustrated when every Ally that comes across one of our low level characters has to corpse camp us. Like you said, it’s get out the 80 and go kill them. But really. They are the type of people that probably take candy from kids and push them down. 👿Magtheridon (Pvp) have both Horde and Alliance.
Also have a few alts on other server. One being Alterec Mountains.😀 Is it just me or is everyone that has posted in this thread mainly Horde? I started out (and currently play) as Horde, and although I definitely play Alliance too I’ll always pick Horde first 🙂
