But, those 7 negatives were long ago. The seller has good feedback really. Just look at the positives. This person has shipped many breakable items recently. And did it well. It’s really too bad about the picture. If I had the money I would buy it.

But, yes pictures do have alot to do with how well things sell. I got a white young for cheap since the seller didn’t have a gallery photo.

Also, in the second one with the stock photo, they say they have the original box. The first one does not and is dusty. Personally dust and lack of box doesn’t really bother me, but for bigger items like this OW, the Rising Spectral and Emperor, it does bring a peace of mind knowing said big, heavy, expensive dragon will come in its safe, happy little Windstone box 🙂

It IS helpful to have, as Nam said, an actual photo of the item. Otherwise, if there is any damage to the item at all, since it’s a stock photo, you *COULD* say the seller is misrepresenting the item.

MIB/NIB does not mean you have never opened it??

And on some of those Ive said Id like to see the actual item that Id be bidding on. Plus, it should be taken out for inspection to be sure there was no damage in original shipment. Some sellers have gotten awfully ruffled when Ive asked for this, but personally, if youre not willing to show me the actual item Id be buying, I dont want to buy sight unseen from someone I dont know. I accept it here because, well, it’s you guys. But ebay – uh-uh.

Photos do make a big difference from an advertising point of view. But as it’s been said, a bad photo can actually work in your favor if youre willing to take the chance and understand the shoddy camera work.

When someone puts NR at the end of a title, what does that mean? “Now Retired?” If so, they are being redundant cause some of them come right out and say Retired in their title with the NR. Im thinking it means something different and when I find out it will be so obvious I’ll likely go stick my head in the sand.

And to end up, yes, feedback for me is very important when I buy, as is the tone used when I first communicate with a seller while auction is going on. Ive not bought pieces because some sellers have been righteous, refusing to answer my questions and being snide like saying, “my feedback speaks for itself.” Just cause it’s ebay doesnt mean customer service youd give someone face to face isnt as important.

Yes, NR=No Reserve. MIB does not mean its never been opened. Just that its like new and comes with the box. NIB means its brand new, not previously displayed, etc. I have seen them advertise that they have only pulled the item out to take pics, but never that they have not even opened the box. That would be silly. 😕

A picture says 1000 words. That first dragon just does not look well cared for, and w/o the original box, you gotta wonder what condition it will arrive in.
