The next set of pyo’s are in. the first one I am working on is a commission for Nirvana and Phill:
Black Pearl “phill”
this one will be painted much like the black pearl with some slight color changes.Progress shots:

Well, as far as I can tell they usually buy in pairs – one for Nirvana and one for Phil. Just a heads-up… 😛

that is actualy a mixture of black and purple acrylic. I the next pyo’s i’ll try to take some short video to show what i do.
when i start, I water my pain down and i “wash” it over the pyo with the paint brush. I let thepaint pool in different areas and this gives it a spotty two tone affect over the whole pyo since you see the white show through the ereas that have thinner paint.
