hi Mrs.Mellody,
Earlier there was a topic on Oreintals and in it Moon colored dragons got mentioned. From the photo it was this wonderful blue color. On the other side of the computer screen I just about went nuts over thoughts of a blue dragons and even used photo shop to turn a picture of my lap dragon blue to get an idea of what it would look like. So I just got to ask, are there any plans at all to do other dragon in Moon coloring? like spectrals/old worrier/lap dragons?also, on a very side note(because i would rather not clutter things by making a new topic and this one is still fresh) about pyos, is there any way we can order them and request that the eyes not be glued in yet, send the eyes separate in a little bag?
I pop my eyes out, which so far has not been a problem… but i was just wondering it this may be possible instead.May 27, 2007 at 8:30 pm #491155May 27, 2007 at 9:37 pm #581687I don’t think they would send the sculpt with eyes out, as they open themselves up to the risk of copying.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

alrighty, thanx you guys <3.
that is very understandable. i’ll have to stick with popping them out then.May 28, 2007 at 1:28 am #581690The Moon dragon featured on Melody’s Elfwood page is a peacock colored sun dragon. They’ve already made them that color, they’re just notoriously hard to find!
May 28, 2007 at 3:18 am #581691that is sooooo pretty. it makes my heart melt. I really do love the blue being the dominant color.
May 28, 2007 at 3:22 am #581692I like your idea of a moon-colored Spectral. 😀

rising moon spectral *puuuuuurrrrrr*
May 28, 2007 at 3:25 am #581694Squeak?
Though squeaking probably isn’t the best thing to do next to something that purrs… 😆May 28, 2007 at 3:25 am #581695Unfortunately, the peacock orientals aren’t really the same color as the picture. They are still mainly blue, but it’s a brighter blue with green and purple in it. There are darker ones however, with dark blue and purple. I would just love blue dragons though!
May 28, 2007 at 4:43 am #581696Meh!I think the lighter peacock orientals are PRETTIER in person. I’ve thought a couple times of selling my peacock Sun dragon after all the hoo-ha you guys made over the moon dragon, but I honestly just love him too much. He’s way too beautiful with all the subtle shifts into green on his shoulders and purple belly scales. Wonderful. <3
I know other people have them, tell me you agree with me!

(Old Worrier…ha!)
I could try a solid blue on the Sun dragon. The Peacock Sun Dragon is pretty nearly solid blue, but does have a little violet and green on him.
I need to decide on a color for the last ones we have.. I was going to try them in Black Gold, or Pearl. Maybe I’ll paint some samples and let you vote.Quote:also, on a very side note(because i would rather not clutter things by making a new topic and this one is still fresh) about pyos, is there any way we can order them and request that the eyes not be glued in yet, send the eyes separate in a little bag?

Often the cast in place, painted-over eyes are a give away that the piece is a fake. We need all the help we can get in that regard!May 28, 2007 at 5:03 am #581698The Moon Dragon is actually the Female to the Sun Dragon isn’t it? I thought that is what Melody said. 😕

I’ll buy the darn thing no matter what, sadly. 😛 It’d be interesting to see Black Gold, or emerald peacock even, but I think white/pearl would look better.
How many are left, anyway?
