April 12, 2007 at 6:56 am #561110You’ve got some serious talent girl!!
April 12, 2007 at 11:24 am #561111You should offer your talent to the comic book world!
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

April 12, 2007 at 12:05 pm #561113Really cool. Just gotta love those colors. 😀 Thanks for sharing!
April 12, 2007 at 3:50 pm #561114Ooh awesome. I love seeing art pieces a year apart from each other. It really gives me hope, lol. Beautifully done!
April 12, 2007 at 5:44 pm #561115I like this one better because of the bright colors. I also think it is fine you use one thread instead of posting mutiple ones.
April 12, 2007 at 7:17 pm #561116dragonmedley:I still have a long way to go in learning muscle tone and use of lighting, as well as vantage points for scenes like in cities. I have a hard time with those..
I also am so extremely picky about what I will not draw, so I am holding off on offering to do art for a job such as comics..unless they are my own.
still got a lot to learn about art.Skigod377 : here ski, this should work.
Greater Basilisk: thanx ^.^
DantheDragon: yeah, seeing other artists progress can really help a lot. It’s why I never deleted anything off my DA gallery…so others can go through and see the progress and learn from it too.
dragonessjade: Yeah. I wanted bright colors for the other one, but at the time i did not know how to achive that affect.April 12, 2007 at 8:49 pm #561117Cool! Thanks! I think I like the fur on the tail and elbows on the older pic, but I can def see an improvement. How cool. I love it… I really do. Your stuff belongs on kids school folders and trapper keepers and stuff. They would love it. (I hope thats not an insult. I mean it as a compliment…. the kids would love it.) I never had cool stuff like this growing up. Only puppies and kitties and ponies 😕 Really, I think you should look into it, and when you get rich, just remember the little people. 😉
April 12, 2007 at 8:52 pm #561118I take that as a compliment. that is something I would LOVE to do. As I kid my favorite folders were the ones with art on them and I will always remember that.

April 12, 2007 at 8:58 pm #561120O_o I don’t even now how to go about doing it.
(I’m a noooob)
April 12, 2007 at 9:15 pm #561121Neat! I mentioned before about Jennadelle- and you said that was a sore subject. I’m sorry! I meant no offense. I just noticed a similarity in style. I used to watch her work way before she was ‘popular’ and own several of her originals.
Where do you draw your inspiration? 🙂Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
My art: featherdust.comApril 12, 2007 at 10:19 pm #561122That there is a question. Almost anything and Everything.
I am a big scifi fan, so almost anything alien grabs my attention immediately.
reading stories like Dune, Hunt for the Icarus,Only Forward, The right to Arm Bears.
Scifi Artists such as Wayne Barlow,HR Giger and Bob Eggleton.
Barlow’s creature the Daggerwrist was a lot of influence.
Anime: Technoman,Guyver,Evengelion, pokemon, but Digimon wins out with the most impact. I collect the cards and the cards have a very grungy art.Hayao Miyazaki’s works.
The Final Fantasy series, mostly 7 and 10. 7 had a lot of grungy cities and wasteland like sceneries.
Other games too Like Jack and Daxter, Kingdom Hearts. And there is a long list of dead Artists. Dali the most with his extended limps, stilts, and deserted sceneries. Also Edvard Munch with his art full of dreary colors.
and then there are all the DA Artists..too manny to name. Jen used to be one but I ran into a nasty issue of being accused of style theft(along with 7 others and most with completely different styles) Long story. I’ve been leary of naming any sort of inspirations ever since.
and then there is all the natural things that have heavy inspiration. anything I can use for alien design. Dino’s, the sad birth defects of kittens, I have a small library of animal encyclpedias covering all sorts of species that I use regularely. My favorate to use are the deep sea creatures. I have a book by Fabien Cousteau that has photos on most of the deap sea ocean species.
Some times it is as simple as looking outside and seing something that would made just the most interesting creature.
Inspiration comes from every where and more then one place for me.It would be insane to try to name them all, but that should be the ones that affect me the most.
(No offense taken btw)
