I Found One!!

I found an emerald cat wizard! He came yesterday – brand new in the box. Thank you to everyone who sent me leads on one – I couldn’t believe how many people kept me in mind and sent info. You guys are the best!

I had emailed a store about emerald dragons (trying to track down a coiled one) and a very nice gentleman emailed me back the next day. Something happened to the email – he sent in but I didn’t get it for 2 weeks and it wasn’t in my spam folder. Maybe Snap would know what happened…so I called him about the emerald scratcher he had. We were discussing it (plus a fledgling) and he quoted the price and then apologized “because it is a lot darker than the other emeralds I had.” Dead silence on my part. Then “darker? like a jade color?” “yeah, I guess you could call it jade.” So I assured him the color was ok and bought it.

While he was taking my info I said “by the way, you don’t have an emerald cat wizard, do you?” and he said “the big one with the paw raised and the crystal ball? Yeah, I have one.” So trying not to hyperventilate I got him but was afraid to say anything until he came. Got home from work yesterday and he was on my porch in perfect condition, if a little cold. *does mad happy dance around the room*

So, I now have two jade scratchers (the price was good on the second one) which means I’m going to post one of them in the flea market section. Details there….
