4-24-12 5:30 pm – the Super Natural Grab Bag Babies went into the store today. We changed the way the store functions a little bit so that when you put something in your cart it stays there for an hour, then if you do not buy it, it goes back into inventory. For the next hour, baby unicorns may be re-appearing in the store, by small numbers, from the shopping carts of those who did not buy them – so if you missed them, you may still purchase one, just watch for a little while.
And for the very observant – thank you for letting us know that the store was glitching a bit – we appreciate your help! We could still have another glitch going on, but we won’t really know until later, and we hope it’s working properly!
You may need to refresh your screen to see that they are once again in stock. I hope that this enables all of those who were not present when we first restocked them to get one!
Right now (7:50 pm PST) it says they are all gone – but I think there are a few more stuck in carts that will re=appear. I’ve been trying to count little Baby Unicorn heads and it isn’t easy! From a consumer point of view, this system looks like a big improvement. I don’t know how it is working for Windstone.
This system is much better (I think, so far!, but it may hold surprises!)
Please note that these will not all instantly ship out tomorrow. I haven’t even got the paper work printed and organized yet! We’ll be shipping some of them tomorrow, but the majority will ship Thursday and Friday. Thank you!
I liked the way things worked with this release.. and the “releases from carts in an hour” really helps spread out the release for those who weren’t here when they first came out 🙂 I just *really* hope the limbo the store is showing is legit unis and it isn’t trying to make any up for ya’ll! =
If the store isn’t making up fake unicorns, then it’s a great new system. However, I’ve noticed whenever I order from the store, even after I’ve completed my order the item remains in cart. I bought a BVP fledgling almost 2 weeks ago, and when I placed my order today he was still in my cart and had to be removed to place this order. So as long as these “remaining in the cart forever” pieces aren’t being counted and replaced in the store, then it’s working great! If those pieces are being recounted…have fun painting 1 million unicorns? :O

Wow, there must have been a lot of people who decided not to buy one because when I got mine yesterday they were first sold out within 30 minutes I think.In a way, this system does give the impulse buyers time to really think their purchases through, which might explain the reappearing unicorns…
It was smooth sailing for me.I held my breath and held my fingers in slow mo while I completed my order instead of jumping in my seat and zinging through checkout.hahaha The delay and return of the unis allowed a dear friend to get one.We do hit the store hard when these come out so all in all,we really can’t complain.It also helps them to work out the bugs and improve their system.Thanks for all of the hardwork everyone.I can just see Ms.Susie staring 😐 at the screen with her hands in her hair. 😉 Just kidding.Love you Ms.Susie! :love:
