    Secret methods? 😯

Actually I found the eBay seller you got yours from, and I lust after some orange and gold ones for my ki-rin.

I am watching them, with luck, they will be adorning my girl soon. I love your idea, hope you don’t mind my borrowing it. In fact I was thinking of getting a new Ki-rin PYO and some wings and color coordinating them.

Also, what is the sculture apoxie you use? I would like to get some. While the product I am using for repairs now is pretty good, it takes a long time to dry, and I can’t shape it until it is partially dry, so adding details sometimes is tough if I am unable to get back to it before it goes solid as a rock on me.

Very secret methods…. super glue. 🙂 I used Apoxie Sculpt afterward to keep it permanity in place. 🙂 Here is the website of the stuff I use.

that is the stuff~ It hardens in about 3 hours…overnight for rock hard. It has to sit before you mess with it to, but for only like 10 minutes. And it takes some getting used too before you should apply it to a windstone, its not like sculpty!

DO you know what we really need? A daily report from the factory on what was worked on. Then we know the story. For example…
Today 14 wild green and red poads were painted,
The PYO unicorn mold was finished,
30 Wolf gryphon families were painted and 100 more were boxed.
1 white SK was boxed up and sent to whippet
1 unpainted sun oriental dragon was sent to Nam
38 horns were placed into mother unicorn heads
    all before lunch….

See wouldn’t that work great? 😆

Oh, I love it! That is so flipping clever!

How did you attach the wings?

It looks terrific, I want it! Now I am wondering if I could get Monarch wings for mine.

    Kyrin

Giggles..I am not sure about you…but I can do a monarch one, so you probably can.

Oh and I attached them with secret methods…ooooo and then covered the attachment with sculpted apoxie to make it look more natural.

My grampa says “dad-gum” when he gets mad and its really funny to hear my kids say it. I think a great pose would be two dragons together with wings over each other and tails twisted like lovers. aaahhhh so romantic. 😳 😉

    OOOOH LOVE THAT ONE!

Could be. They dont pop up often and there are folks on here skilled at repair.

I wonder how a castle repaired by whippet would look. Probably prefect. 😆

I would like to have tried to. But not at that price. Should it be unsold I would like to try.

Okay well I don’t have a father dragon yet…so I will have to check that one later.
As for the momma gryphon, I see the leaves and the gryphon, where is the peace sign? I don’t want to look more…scared I will drop her!

So I am really humble…really. But gosh I am a genius. *giggles*

Nirvanacat this is your fault…all those dang bug portraits did it to me.

Wings have been added…as well as extra fluff to cover the points the wings were attached. This hair was handsculpted to match the mane already there.
    Want more pics….

Wings can fold and bend to different shapes. I did not make these wings, but they were handmade and sold to me from ebay. As you can see they “glow” in the light, light stained glass.
I am more proud of this PYO than any I have ever done. I used the “copper touched” one that I finished a few weeks ago. I found these wings and knew it had to happen.

So be honest…what do you think?

I love the idea of on the back with the little fat feet up and chewing on the end of the little fat tail. awl

in reply to: how would you feel about this? #563801

Oh yeah I saw that DDVM, looked amazing, touch pricy, but amazing. One day maybe. We got married on the Rosie cruise last time, but most of our family could not be there, just my partner’s aunt and her partner. So the next one has to be local….if and when that is.

Anyway as far as the cruise goes. I have looked over the one peice of paperwork I did have, and it does have small print about changeing ports, so I guess I am just ummm screwed. But I have decided nevermind…its just not worth the heartache. I am just going to suck it up and have a good time anyway.
So I guess it no longer matters what I do. I am going to have a great vacation no matter what.

Thanks for the support guys. I feel better already.

Yeah frozen, Rosie is a big part of it. Here is our pic from the first cruise….

Its her wife and partner that is the head of this cruise company thingy. I have already written her directly. We shall see what happens at this point. But if they don’t offer anything…guess I will just swallow my anger and try and have a great time anyway.

    Letter I wrote just now…
    Hi…
Sorry to harp on this, but I want one point strongly pointed out. Theme parks are NOT a real option on this cruise.
The NCL website says you can not disempark until 11. And say you are really lucky and get off the boat almost right away, which we know doesn’t happen because of the lines, and then wait for the shuttle. So say you get on the shuttle at 11:30. The drive is over an hour. Sooo by the time you get off at Disney…its now 1:00 pm. You have to get back on the shuttle at 3:30 to be back by 5…which is the time the boat requires you to return. That gives you 2 and a half hours in a Disney park in PEAK season.
And you just paid 150 bucks a person to maybe ride one ride, or see one whale show in Seaworld.
So making us feel better by saying we can go to one of the wonderful excursions at Port Canaveral, is just not real.
I was so excited when I first thought we could go to Disney…and now I am devistated. I can’t do Disney and I can’t do the glass bottom boat tour I really wanted to do in Bermuda.
While I understand completely why you resceduled, I am not pleased with how this is being handled. I am sure you will understand when I tell you that I want somesort of compensation. We are not getting what we paid for. And the note you sent me before made me feel very passed by. You did not answer any of the points I had made. It sounded like a forumla letter and it really hurt.
I still want to go. I am still going to have a great time, but I am upset right now and I know that is coming through too.
I don’t know what to say really. I don’t want to come across as some whiny dyke, but I feel like one. 🙂
So anyway the main point of this letter was to point out that saying we can at least go to a theme park is Not a real option and is rediculous. Anyway…hope someone is listening.
    Thanks
    Tara
