What material did you use on the peg and scratcher to resculpt? Epoxy?

    the Repario spell….
    No just kidding.
I use Apoxie Sculpt. I first fill in the holes…and make it very smooth. Then after that hardens overnight I add small balls of the Apoxy and press them flat…creating scales. Then I painted black…then I add a bit of color and then the interference! 🙂

    Welcome! We want pictures!

Yeah just went and looked at the gryphon…I agree with everyone else. SLOW down and thin out your paint. Its very “globby” and chalky. And please try one without the glitter…the glitter takes away from the “ALIVE” look of Windstones.
I love that you are useing unusual colors, and the greeen/brown looks great togeather as a color combo. I also like the pattern on the legs…and if done in thin layers it would look really neat. Make sure to check out the tutorial and def. get some practice peices to work with. These were never ment to be easy to paint!

DONE! And it looks pretty good!

Because the paint on that one is so thick and the glitter too…It needs to be scrapped clean. I would try to pick off the glitter first…then scrub it gently with hot water to remove the thick paint. Then do as stated and start with solid colors. Paint in thin layers. It should take a couple of layers before the white no longer shows through. Really your best bet as a beginning painter would be to come here at each step and ask for advice…that way you don’t get too far along on the wrong track. We are always glad to help.

I would pay you 40 grand for your entire collection. But should you choose to sell seperately I would pay you 3 grand for Olymipia and 2 grand for Phil.
    You take payments right?
Good then I will take one of the flame POWs for another 3 grand.

Now for Project Scratcher. I traded Spark for this pile of rubble….

And step one is complete, the body is glued and the wholes are filled. Details will be carved next…and then paint will be added. This is a gift for my mother who loves the scratcher!

Wow! The mare is amazing and I love the color scheme!! Though, if you don’t mind hearing my opinion, I’m not as fond of the wings. The bright white keeps “pulling” my eyes away from that beautifully painted mare so I don’t get to properly enjoy her. I would prefer a softer, blended white that allows my eyes to “flow” more easily over her. But that’s just my opinion and, other than that minor thing, I love what you’ve done to her.

I need to take some outdoor photos…but it was raining yesterday. the wings have no white on them at all…its the same cream/tan color as the face. I must go get better pics today!
