I have painted three or four silver bengals, but only one of those is good enough to sell, and just this one brown Bengal so far. I plan to do more of them .
Not good enough to sell? List them, and watch us maim each other for them. π π
*chuckles* On the other hand, more griffins out there might cut DOWN on the bloodletting, envy, and grudges! π π
Yes yes!
Uhh, I mean… WHAT grudges? *giggles*

LadyFirebird wrote:And Tyrrlin, I watched the remaining seconds of that auction! I wasn’t bidding but sometimes I watch them to the bitter (don’t get heart attacks because I’m getting outbid) but yipes–over $2,600!!! Think of it this way–you’re not spending that money and Melody hinted that she is considering a production line of the griffins in bengal pattern. It won’t be signed but it will be a lot cheaper! Sometimes good things come to those who wait! π
I am taking some consolation in the fact that the “winning bid” is still sitting in my bank account (or on my credit card π ). And you’re not alone, I also will watch the occasional auction just to see what something goes for. It’s a LOT more fun when you’re not trying to win.
Hopefully the other Bengal prototypes’ll show up at auspicious times. We’ll have to wait and see.

Dang… somebody *really* wanted that Bengal Griff. It was a heated bidding war… and I lost. π₯
Congrats to the winner, he is gorgeous! π
(At least I didn’t spend that money… yet) >.> π

Thanks for the trade offer, but I’m really more interested in buying if anyone wants to sell. π

Might have to bow out of that one, though. As much as I like the chicks, it’s getting a bit too rich for my blood. Good luck, all!

A-yup.

Yes I do. I like to collect them. π

Can’t I just grab one of the bookshelves that they’re on and drag that out?
No?
Uhhh, I’d grab my Prairie Falcon Griff, my Gold Wine Griff, and… uhhh, Snag the Gold Sunburst female in my teeth. π

Since there are some other “Want to Buy” posts, I’d figure to join the trend. π
If you just so happen to have a test paint griffin, or a limited “guest painter” production griffin (like the Laboradite), I’d be very interested in offering a new, loving home to them. π Reasonable offers accepted, but please keep in mind I am currently in college full-time, so I may not be able to afford every griffin that comes my way. π
If you have a test paint/limited producion griffin, please reply or send me a PM and I’d be happy to arrange something. π Thanks!

Wow…
I wonder who that person was, with the “bidding up” complaint. I know that everything I bid on would be a welcome addition to my home, but there are items that I go after more aggressively than others. *coughgriffinscough* π³ For the Poads, I had no idea it was you winning most of them, kitsunelady, but I’m glad they’ve gone to a forum member. It means we get to see pics like the one you posted in this thread! π

Don’t be sorry. π You wanted her, you bid for her, and she’s going home with you. That’s the way it works on eBay. *huggles* I’m glad she’s staying in the “family”, as it is.
And grats on the wizard, chrisherself!
