Maybe the really are being done in batches. I reread the letters of my limited production pieces. The letters they send out say once the batch is gone it may be awhile before they make another. Could they be sold out?
My plan was to buy my wanted retireds and then my limited productions. I guess I better be careful or they might disappear from the direct sales and I’ll be kicking myself!
Does anyone know what happened to the crouching griffin chicks on the direct sales page? They used to be up there and now they are gone. Are they not available anymore?
Wow, two flames! 😯
Ski, out of curiousity, which old warriors do you have?
They are so adorable!
Thanks LIH, your awesome! 😀
Yikes! I just saw the latest bid at a bit over $200!
Maybe $210 isn’t so bad.I posted this on the other threat, but I’ll mention it here too…
They don’t ship, but if both of you wanted the two peacocks, I might go down there and pick them up and ship them for you.
They are about 3hrs away, and if I did make the drive, I would pick up a dragon for myself to make it worth it. It might be worth the effort to please three of us.

I found one around my area MIB for $210. I know it is not a fantastic price but it is here.
I found a peacock old warrior – if you are still interested. But he is not easy or cheap to get, he works out to be about $284 US. And they do not ship. He is apparently mint and comes with box.
The only other two retired dragons they have are a peacock scratching and peacock lap. Both are $210 US, which I think are over priced.
I NEED a white SK. I’ve been in trouble for a week with my hubby just because I am thinking about bidding. But, I haven’t bid once yet. By the time it gets to the end, it is already too high for me.
If the brighter colour is the new colour, it is weird that my 12 year old scratcher is in the new colour. Oh well, love them either way!
He’s here! Thanks, Frozen! He’s beautiful and better in person!
But, I’ll tell you, I panicked. The post man showed up on the doorstep with him and I saw right away that the package had been opened by customs. I was terrified that they didn’t repack him well and that he would be damaged inside. The post man was looking at me like “Um, you need to pay the customs for him before you rip it open.” But, he is here, and he’s perfect!
Thanks a bunch!
$1225. I wish we knew for sure if they SK’s in this colour are going to end up on the direct page. It would make losing the auctions so much easier. 🙁
I moved this from the flea market section cuz I realy want to know what everyone thinks!
I don’t quite understand the new vs old peacock. These peacocks are sitting in the order I bought them in. The scratcher was bought about 12 years ago. I had the emperor ordered in last August 06. And the old warrior was ordered in and bought January 07.
The scratcher and the old warrior have the same colourings. So, I don’t understand, if there is old and new peacock, how is it that the old warrior bought recently is in the old peacock colours. Or was it just certain scuplts (like emperor and scratching and lap) were one type of peacock coloration and other sculpts (the family) in the other peacock. Or, was it just the painter who decided.
And, which peacock does everyone like better?
