Oh, DUH @ me!! 😆 I thought PD got a regular one and just named it Wild Plum. Sorry for the confusion!! 😳
You crack me up! 😆
Melody, are the PYO flapcats going to be the same size as the ones you paint, or will they be smaller?
Wow, that really is a beautiful dragon. *sigh*
Congrats again, purpledoggy! 😀 He’s a looker alright.Anyone know how many there were?
The coiled mother will be gorgeous in amethyst. I’d love to get one of those.
sbianchi wrote:I missed them also! I kept checking but it’s 3 hrs different time zone, the Male Dragon was still there when I was on last night when the Pen’s game came on and I didn’t even get to watch all of that. 😥 (had to get the heating pad on my back)
I watched that game too! Quite a game eh? I’m from Pittsburgh, so am pulling for the Pens to win the cup this time.
Back on topic though.. I missed these dragons too. I really wanted one, but had no internet because of my recent move. I finally have it today though. Frickin figures. 🙄
Yes, please let there be another batch of those amethyst orientals. I really wanted one of those, and missed out on them too.
Congrats, purpledoggy! I’m so happy for you 🙂
lamortefille wrote:To each his own, traviste…I won’t throw anything at you. 😀 Have you seen Paul Stankard’s work? I don’t own any paperweights and I’ll never be able to afford one of his, but they sure are amazing! I still need a glass pumpkin…and the space to display it! 😀
Here is a nice glass pumpkin for ya. The ones made by this artist are really nice, and have a good bit of weight to them too. I’ve got 2 different ones so far. Both bought from the dealer selling this one. I have purchased a few other things from him in the past too, and everything arrived quickly and perfect.

Oh, and WOW regarding Paul Stankard’s work! 😮 The flowers look so real! You gotta be really rich to afford one of his pieces.
Greater Basilisk wrote:Hm, I have the CL and the Parliament from Windstone, sunhawk’s 4 watercolor “Messengers”, a bronze 4″ owl on a marble base, and the avian scene from creaturesfromel. That’s all I have for now. I still want to get the bookends from emerald, but they’re both out of stock at Windstone and I have other expenditures looming at the moment anyway.
GB, you collect owls too? I love owls. 😀
Please make some new color production unicorns Melody! The dark dun on Ebay is very pretty.
This unicorn is so cool looking! Congrats on the sell.
You have a very impressive glass collection! The jellyfish is cool. I’ve seen those before, but never really checked to see how much they run. To be honest, they are kinda creepy to me. Please don’t throw things at me for saying that!
I’m a paperweight nut, but also enjoy sculpture too. Some of my favorite artists/companies are Sumo, Epiphany, and Byron Sutherland. Byron Sutherland makes purdy glass pumpkins!
Also, I hope this isn’t a stupid question. This is something I’ve wondered about, but always forgot to research online. Is seaglass naturally formed somehow in the ocean, or is it just actual pieces of glass that got into the ocean and altered in shape and color by the ocean currents? It is pretty looking.
So you like to collect glass. Do you like to collect one form of glass more over the other? like paperweights more than dishes or vases? I know you like marbles too. What are your favorite glass artists/companies?

I went to 3 of those last week during vacation! All very awesome. You need to get out there star!
