It’s definitely Melody’s and it could very well just be a print. I have one just like it. I cost me almost that much to have it framed, so if the frame and glass survive the shipping, the price is probably justified.

I haven’t seen one in person yet. The eyes do look very life-like. That’s one of the things about eyes on Windstone, they seem to follow you around the room…most of the time it’s okay, but as you say, it can get a bit creepy at times… 😆 😆
Very, very nice!!! Can you take a pic looking down at him a bit? His eyes are angled upwards too much in this view. I’d like a better look at his face. I really do love him….

Wow!!! Thanks everyone for the cool pics and the info. I always thought the cockatrice looked like ski’s ‘deformed chicken’ too! I’m not sure I’d want a Windstone like that, but knowing Melody, she probably has a much better vision of one. 😀
If you want to leave Santa’s reindeer a yummy treat on Christmas Eve, this receipe is for you:
1 cup granola
2/3 cup glitter
1 cup sugar cubes
1 cup dried cranberriesOn Christmas Eve, combine ingredients in a sealed plastic bag. Shake vigorously to mix. Sprinkle on your lawn before bedtime or leave in a bowl by the window.
The glitter will shine in the moonlight & lead the reindeer to your house.
