Yup, there are those amethyst geode slabs I was drooling over earlier. Almost had me overlooking that pretty PYO zebracorn. I really wish I knew the location of a local rock shop or new age shop specializing in crystals.
And I’d forgotten all about your flap cat shelf! Goodness, what I’d give just to have a small portion of that little group. *purrs*
Anyway… needs moar red fire male photos! 8)
I absolutely love your full collection photos, lamorte. The mineral slabs, the globes, and other beautiful trinkets mingled in with your Windstones, it all looks great. That, and you really have an eye for coordinating the different pieces. 🙂
Out of curiosity, where did you pick up those amethyst slabs and the small globes?

The original sprites for the dinosaurs, before they switched over to original designs, were the four classic colors of Yoshi from the Mario games. That’s also why the dinosaur eggs are spotted. I have to say though, the different species of dinosaur now are certainly more fun.
As a side note, all of the original dragon sprites were adapted from video games, not just Yoshi. I remember dragons resembling monsters from a number of Squaresoft games like Final Fantasy and the Chrono Trigger series. Also, I want to say the chicken sprite was taken from the Zelda games. 😈

I was closely scrutinizing the shading on the Emerald Mother. If that’s a repaint, that’s one heck of a fine job, but my money’s on these being legitimate.
Sorry ’bout that! If it had been a hidden auction, Id not have made it known in public like this. But since everyone here makes it a daily business to search keyword “Windstone”, I knew theyd run across them. Plus, the subtitle also tells you of the rarity. Hope I didnt screw anything up for you- really.
Oh my goodness, have no worries, you’re fine! *hugs* I like making a game of finding valuable and really nifty new auctions and seeing how quickly they’re discovered, and sometimes I get excited if time passes and I find I’ve stumbled across a neat little secret. But I’m actually glad I’m not the only person who thought this was an awesome find.
Besides, if I was the only person who spotted those beauties on the forum, it’d be like the entire memberbase here missing a 12-foot-tall neon animated sign on the highway. 😆 They’re advertised very well, and I hope the seller gets a fair price on ’em. 🙂

When eggs show up there are only three on the screen at a time. You have to refresh to see the different egg types that are released in each batch.
Oh yeah, I’ve played this game for quite some time. It’s just that I’ve noticed that after refreshing a completely new batch of eggs, instead of a newly adopted egg being replaced by a new one as in the past, it just decreases the pile by one.
I guess all the battles for the egg pile were too much strain on the server, so they’re spreading release times out. Either that, or they’re more popular now than I realize and swarms of dragon-crazy people are adopting eggs faster than I can blink and my laptop can refresh. 😆
Aww, I was hoping I was the only one who noticed those auctions. 😆

I’m interested, but I’ve never painted with acrylics before, much less on a collective effort PYO statue. I’d hate to set back or ruin the project due to my lack of experience.
Any PYO veterans have any advice for a bright-eyed newbie? I’ve reviewed the FAQ .pdf, but I have a feeling I might still be missing something.

Yeah, the cinnamon finished at $233, and this pink is far exceeding that price and is still active. Not everyday you find store pieces that may still be in future production exceeding Artist’s Editions.
The final bid on her was $233.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a #3, since I’m finding myself falling more in love with the pearl curled dragons. Maybe a decently priced curio cabinet on Craiglist would be good as well.
Priorites, Skitter! 😆
Hooray, that is indeed very much welcomed news! Good to note that my old dragons still have their old genders as well. I don’t imagine Zerthak, Destroyer of Worlds would have appreciated suddenly finding himself female. 😆
I recall with the older site that every dragon (or dinosaur or chicken in some cases) was male with the exception of the pink, purple, and some silvers.
I hope things have changed since then. It’d be nice to have some variety in dragon genders.
