I would give you my well if such a thing was possible, Laurie! Last summer we had a brand new well dug and new pipes laid and everything, this summer we get a letter from the township telling us they’re bringing in city water. Ugh, why couldn’t they have told us that $6,000 ago??**GASP** I THINK I see one with RED eyes!! If anyone gets him and thinks he’s creepy I would be very happy to have him!! <3
Yep! I’m glad you see it, too, I’ve been staring at it since last night trying to figure out if they are red. I think the creepy ones are cute! :bigsmile:
I’ve never heard of that either. That sounds like a major hassle, isn’t there anything the company can do to make the card easier to use for you? You would think the CC company would want you to be able to use their card frequently.
Once a year or so, my hubby and I go on a shopping spree around Pittsburgh, sometime during the shopping trip I’ll get a phone call from the CC company making sure that it’s me that is using the card every five minutes for unusual purchases, LOL. :bigsmile:

And it just GALLS me that the post office seems to run business like this:
1. Charge money to perform a service
2. Execute service extremely poorly, cost customer money and time
3. Repeat
4. When customer is at wit’s end, sell them a more expensive service as a solution.
5. PROFIT!Ugh.

In the thread about PYO unicorns, Melody explained the latest issue with getting some gold horns made:
“As far a I know we aren’t getting anywhere with the mold issue for pewter.
This is the epic story of the pewter horns:
We switched to a new pewter casting company because the old company gave us horn rot problems.We found our old pewter molds, but they are not the kind that the new pewter company uses.
To re-make the molds, we need to make new “masters” for the horns because we can’t find them.
To make the masters again, we would need to make molds on the existing pewter horns.
If we remake the horns from existing pewter ones, we will have shrinkage, so the horns probably won’t fit.

I hope that answers for you 🙂I totally understand though.. since I’ve seen a few Emperors in person I’ve found that they may be my least favorite dragon sculpt XD They’re magnificent in their size, but something about that thick neck and the tiny little T-Rex arms bugs me!
LOL! I thought I was the only one who thought that! He looks so out of proportion to me. He’s the only dragon I don’t care for.
The Old Warrior, on the other hand, is the epitome of what I think a dragon would look like. I’ve never seen a dragon that I thought was more perfect than he is. <3I’m so in love with the sculpts that I would love them in any color! I can’t think of any color that I would be disappointed with. 🙂
That’s awful!! I’m sorry you have to get a PO box just to get your packages. 🙁 I ordered some photo prints from Shutterfly that came today and the post office had torn the pictures to bits. The shipping rates keep going up and up and the quality keeps going down. :angry:

Has there ever been a Windstone with glow-in-the-dark paint? I was thinking something with “bioluminescent” spots would be pretty neat…like a jellyfish pattern..
I recall seeing something about this – maybe the dorsal stripe on some of the poads glows?
I think there were a bunch of eBay Poads that have the glowing stripe, but I think it was a surprise to the winning bidders. I only have one Poad and she has a glowy stripe (I didn’t know until I saw a green light coming from my cabinet!). They do exist! 🙂
