Breeding two dragons will only ever get you either parents’ breed, but for more information, I suggest you read the very first post in this tread made by Flaming Dragon.
She put a lot of info into it and also some very useful links! 🙂
Dragon cave wiki had good stuff. Also some dragons can only be obtained through breeding different parents. Example is the geode dragon or shallow water dragon

I was texting my email lastnight while stuck in traffic. (couldn’t sing along to my music in the truck to entertain myself since I got freakin laryngitis so I sound like a squeaky mouse right now) I think I got it done in just a nick of time. Silver Tinsel Hatchling with a nice staircase lineage
CB Nebula hatchlings (red female and/or purple male)
CB Stripped hatchling (male)
