Golden’s airbrush medium works fine with Liquitex (just an fyi). I use Golden and Liquitex fairly interchangeably and haven’t had any issues. Just make sure it’s liquid enough when you mix it. Liquitex mades an airbrush medium as well.

I’d demand a refund of some sort. That emperor was clearly NOT packaged well. I’m so sorry Maebnus πŸ™ He seriously hurts to look at. πŸ˜₯

It is what it is. I just got stuck with the legal paperwork, because I’m the writer of the family πŸ˜• No pressure at all. My brother is getting the help he needs now and doesn’t have to deal with the crap he had to, for a time at least. He won’t be home for 6-9 months (at least), so I’m getting a very nice breather and it is helping everyone!

I don’t think so. There are quite a few new members now too who haven’t really seen your art, so I think you’ll be alright. I’ve been slow on getting on the commission bandwagon myself, thanks to family issues, but they went on hiatus last month, so I’m pretty caught up to do painting and fun stuffs now. It’s a good feeling πŸ™‚

I quit one company I worked for because they required a lot of traveling, and the travel to and from didn’t count towards the hours worked, so if you have to be some place at 9am and it’s 5 hours away by car, guess when you have to get up to get there? It finally started effecting my health. The final straw was my supervisor actually blaming me for getting a severe viral infection that I had to go to the hospital for and get sent home for a week of bed rest. My parents had to come and take me home because I couldn’t breathe well and couldn’t stand up. My lungs felt like they were on fire! When I was able to come back, I told them that I was giving notice. I wasn’t supposed to travel on doctor’s orders and they made me go out to Idaho for a week, then to eastern VA and Myrtle Beach. Idaho was at least a breeze and Myrtle Beach area was easy… and the rental place even gave me a new, black, Mustang Convertible to drive because they were out of economy cars 😈 It was a nice ending… sipping Margarita’s at Margaritaville with a sports car to drive around in after 5pm (company paid for the gas). Came home, left everything for my report on the desk (it was a weekend), packed up the apt. and headed home. Landed a much nicer job a month later πŸ˜€ You do what you have to do.

I do still talk to one of the higher ups in that company though. He has health issues too and understood, but he was in a different dept. He was one of the kewl ones.

There is always one through Netmeeting or the like πŸ˜‰ Like a teleconference. It would also mean everyone would have to have access to the same software πŸ˜› :ponders: Does Unix have such an option or a simulator?

But yes…. that WOULD be a hefty phone bill! πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰

Just a thought to throw out, but maybe it is setting up a big conference call, or something with Melody and everyone on the forum, maybe for the 1st anniversary of the forum? Just a little thought that popped in my head.

HOLY CRAP! That dragon is absolutely drop dead gorgeous! I LOVE the eyes! I love ruby too, but I like this color just a little bit more. Still hoping an Autumn Leaf one doesn’t appear for a little bit, but I’ll at least save pictures of this one. Can’t wait to see how much it goes for! Already at about $2000! πŸ˜€

Just Wow! 😯 πŸ˜€ 😯 πŸ˜€ Someone is going to be one happy, lucky owner πŸ˜€

Awwww…. sorry you didn’t win DM. Gotta love how they say one thing, but the results show otherwise. I’ve been to conventions before that definitely flatlined with the people, but I enjoyed myself in other ways. Glad to have you back though πŸ™‚

If you try to cleanse it, besides water, you could also try sage and do a smudging. Just get an abalone shell (I found one at AC Moore actually) or something that you can smudge with it (I found out plastic bowls don’t work – it is now a melted plastic bowl :P). Very interesting. Maybe it was his favorite piece 😯
