Oh, I was meaning on the production Rainbows for reds 😛 (edited my comment above for clarity 8) ).

My co-worker is wondering why there is a small pool or wet seeping over by his desk at the moment (mops up drool) 😆
OMG! THAT is my idea of an emperor (I like the production Rainbow dragons on the top, but that red on the belly, nose and legs just bothers me on the emp particularly, like his skin is raw and sunburnt). I’m sure I could think of some other color schemes, but that one is pretty much like the colors I had in my head (at least the purples to bluey-greens part… the rest was rather undecided and blurry 😆 ). I was just saying that to my mom two days ago too!

Other colors… how about a sea greenish one (ight sage-seafoam green with light white/goldish colored highlights/underside?). Or an ice one (icey blues with silver). A metallic russett/coppery colored dragon (not sure what soft of underbelly color).
Very nice! I like the feathers! If you want to antique one area, but not another (maybe I misread… it’s late and I should be in bed), one thing you could do is use the masking fluid to cover that area. You could pick the color to antique you like best. Antiquing could also be a lighter color, if you wanted that sort of effect (Arlla did a Kirin that had black scales, but white antiquing.. I’m sure there are others). I know I try to do a small area at a time and I use my fingers to rub off the antiquing. It works better than a sponge or papertowel to keep what you want removed of the antiquing while keeping it in the grooves. Some areas I don’t antique at all (depending on the effect – like white, if I want that angelic/pure look).
Oooh, very nice! If you added crystals, I would add either gold/topazy type crystals, clear ones, or maybe a blue or blue-green of some sort.

Though I am curious, what color of blue is that? It’s such a neat shade of blue!It is a dry pearl pigment that we don’t normally use for anything.. I rubbed it on with a little water. I was experimenting.
Oooooh, nifty! It makes him look like he’s charging up to do something! 😈 It was a bit of a surprise, considering I was unpacking him at 1:30am when I got home from work.

I’ve been contemplating rearranging. I just got a new bookshelf to replace the yaffa blocks (plastic, grid like stacky shelves) I had that were leaning badly from the books. I’m considering packing more books into storage to allow more room for windstones (so I can have some down a little closer to eye level). Such is the life of having a room the size of a small closet with the rest of life boxed in a storage shed 🙄
I periodically look up at my arrangement (this happens at all hours) and think, when this one arrives, it will go nicely there, so this one will have to move there… Did a rearrange one morning as soon as I got up. I might even be able to get an emperor and get my Prototype OW out of his box if I do what I’m considering, but I’ll have to see (may just wait until I have a better place to store him). Don’t want anything to happen to him 😯

The white one could be a great color for the holidays (think snow). 😀 Like a Black with Orange poad would be neat for around October. Just a thought 8)

Definitely looks like an easy repair and matching the paint should be pretty easy. Why do things like this come up at the wrong time? 😛 If only it appeared about 3 days sooner (just put a windstone order in).

HAHA! I was supposed to go to Scotland this year, but it sort of fell through (oh the exchange rate *wince*), so I postponed it for a trip until either summer 2009 or 2010. I’d be happy to meet up with people who want to go! My friends generally can’t afford it and/or don’t want to do the hiking/walking involved for most of my trips or aren’t as adventuresome on the housing/transportation front.
